FreeIndex Redesign
Hi Everyone.
We thought you might like to hear about the new FreeIndex design, which we launched this week.
Here is a quick summary!
In General
- New, faster to load design
- New drop down menus on the main navigation tabs at the top
- New standard user avatars across the site
On Your Profile Page
- Fewer Ads
- If you have more than 5 photos, a great looking photo slider is displayed at the top of your page
- Your images can now be seen all at once on one clear and simple page, instead of the old pop up gallery which on reflection was a bit slow and fiddly
- Implemented a brand new review summary panel at the top right of your page which clearly shows your overall rating and review distribution
- New larger, clearer award graphics. (You need at least 10 reviews to receive an award.)
We are very pleased with the increase in speed as it’s something we are continuously working to improve, now that the site is so busy. We also think the design of your profile page is the best it’s ever been by quite some margin. We hope you agree!

That seems to be a good step, however I would suggest going for a very responsive design, page speed, as well as an app please :)

I find free index very useful could be doing with getting up the ranks on google a bit more though :))
