Mike knows roofs. Brilliant. If I could put 10 stars I would put 10 stars. I have had work done by Mike all the time, he is our regular roofer and always delivers an excellent service and explains everything down too detail. I feel very comfortable with Mike the first day I met him. I have now recommended Mike too other members off my family with a 10 star rating. Excellent guy he knows what he is talking about.

I'm impressed with MB roofing he did a really neat roof repair for me and, by using his extensive collection of ladders, he did it without scaffolding which saved me a lot of money. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful as well as competent.

I contacted Michael to replace a broken guttering bracket on a three story town house. Very impressed with the level of service. The guttering run was removed, inspected and thoroughly cleaned. All the other brackets tightened and joints and seals inspected and replaced where necessary. Advice was offered on some other guttering which may require investigation at a later date. All of this was backed up with a video to show. All carried out in a clean and efficient manner, with everything explained. Have now recommended Michael to two other friends for roofing work.

He unblocked my guttering including down pipe, cleaned it all and fitted vents. Very impressed with the knowledge and enthusiasm of Mike. He explained everything he was doing, and gave me confidence that is very trustworthy. He gave me a good price for the work, and I would recommend him highly. Quite a character as well!

Michael recently finished repairs to a tile that fell from our roof during recent bad weather. From the outset of calling Michael and meeting him to survey the roof, Michael was professional, friendly and knew his trade inside out. The quotation was comprehensive and fair - made even more impressive with the additional tile repairs and other essential work that Michael did without charge. Michael is 100% dedicated to the job in hand. He is very knowledgeable of the trade. His superb workmanship and professionalism is refreshing He goes above and beyond with his attention to detail, helpfulness and caring about what he is doing. Needed some repairs to the valleys on the roof dormer along with some guttering improvements. This was carried out by the proprietor Michael Blake and was completed to a very high standard. We were always kept in form of the work being undertaken included some additional improvements which were beneficial to be completed while having access to the roof. There was no change to the quote for this extra effort. We would highly recommend this company, nothing was too much trouble in ensuring customer satisfaction. Thanks for a great job.

Michael has just completed a major maintenance of my roof which is high-pitched in places. His initial survey of the roof was thorough and he used photographs to show details of damage and debris. Having agreed a price he has replaced all broken tiles, replaced incorrect tiles, cleared all valleys and gutters, re-set ridge tiles inserting copper strips and cleaned the roofs. Very high standard of work at a fair price by a diligent and meticulous professional, who has worked Saturday and Sunday to get the job done.

Michael did a great job for us. He carefully removed a lot of ivy which was threatening to take over the roof (inside as well as out! ), replaced and restored a number of cappings and cracked tiles, as well as repairing the mortar verge where damaged. All done promptly, with good humour and at a fair price. An excellent service. Michael takes great pride in his work; we definitely recommend him.

Michael replaced a leaking flat roof with various technical difficulties. He kept us informed as to the progress and times he would attend site. He worked late one evening to get the roof waterproof as the forcast was rain and even popped round the next morning to make sure all was well. We had confidence in his knowledge and expertise and found him to be reliable and honest. MB are good value for money, we would definitely use Michael again and would thoroughly recommend his services.

I can only echo the positive comments made in these reviews. Michael carried out a thorough survey of my roof to ascertain the cause of my leaking dormer. Not only did he find the cause, he also found other problems that could have been expensive if left unattended. This is often a line that cowboy builders would come up with to try and make you part with cash, but Michael provided video and photographic evidence so that I too could see clearly what the problems were. Michael provided a comprehensive quotation and explained in detail how he intended to carry out the work. He has done a wonderful job and I can’t praise him highly enough – a consummate professional and a bloody nice bloke!

Michael is an extremely passionate and experienced roofer. He will go into the detail to find out all he needs to know and will address any issues he finds. He was also very friendly and helpful and I couldn't recommend him more. The quote was also more than fair. If you are looking for someone who really knows what they're doing and feel passionate to repair, Michael is your man!
