We would highly recommend Ade and the methods he uses. We had a fabulous well adjusted two year old German Shepherd who unfortunately wanted to attack any cars that passed us whilst out walking. As he grew older we presumed that he would grow out of the habit, unfortunately he grew bigger and stronger and the habit continued which became very dangerous as he would pull us into the road. We tried various methods that we found online or through other owners, none of which worked. I was then given Ade's details by a friend and our lives have been dramatically transformed. It took Ade approximately 3 hours to train us [not Storm! Everything he said and showed us made perfect sense and we now have a beautiful dog that walks well on his lead and has generally become more obedient. Massive thank you Ade !
When I seen ade he came to a 18 month old extremely stubborn but also a dog that wants all attention and fuss, which creates an out of control German Shepard, (kita), she had trained me into being her playmate, which I had to change, when she decides it's time to play, I had no choice, else she would of annoyed me to the extent I had to play. As far as kita was concerned I was below her. Ade is very easy to talk to, he explained things on how dogs think, which is huge factor to understanding how to train your dog. At 1st I was anxious because I wanted her to become my dog, not me be beneath her, it seemed just wishful thinking, then ade came along, I didn't time how fast kita learnt I was in charge, but ade walks you through a process of teaching her "I'm in control", she's not! Within what seemed minutes I had her under control on her 1st command she was given by me. It felt so good, While teaching her to walk on a lead. A lady who lives on my street knew how much difficulty I was having, also seen kita on a lead previous, she came out and asked ade if he had a card to contact him to train her dog. It was really so easy to have her walking beside me, also along with his dogs, which I never thought I'd see, or be doing. He really is a.The dog whisperer?, it sounds crazy but the results are immediate and I WILL keep the training up, I love my new dog ? THANK YOY ADE. Now we can learn to enjoy each other. Not dread every single day with a mental out of control dog, also I believed I didn't like her. I can now rest, and look forward to teaching her the a way we will enjoy each other, Ade I can't thank you enough. Me and kita loved having you help us.Fay, Paul and kita my new German Shepard lol.Moreexpand_more
A cleaverly explained 2 hours of learning how to help my 4yr old rescue dog a collie/whippet. Patience with me and making me do the practice all has helped me. Stop the bad habbits I had developed and start with the right signals for my dog to. Understand. Very grateful to Ade for his time and expertise.
We have an 18 month old pup who was becoming increasingly hard to control whilst out walking and guarding excessively in the house. It had got to the stage where we couldn't walk him in residential areas as he would lunge and become very aggressive towards anyone who walked past us. When in the house he would jump up the window and bark at anyone/anything that walked past. If anyone tried to deliver to our door we would have to shut him in the living room as there was not a chance he could be let out whilst the door was open. Ade came and spent almost 3 hours with us. By the time he left we had a different dog. A day later we had a food delivery turn up - we were able to have the front door wide open whilst our dog sat in the open kitchen watching, not moving or barking. We never in a million years thought we would be able to do this. We have been taught how to communicate with the dog and it has already started to really pay off. We put this into practice every day and will continue to do so. The difference in the pup is unbelievable. If anyone reading this has issues and needs someone to help, Ade is your guy. We were very skeptical at first, and were proved wrong within minutes. It is worth every penny to have a happy dog.Moreexpand_more
Ade came to my day 6 years ago when the dog was trying to alpha male in the household. A few good rules and that was fixed. Due to some trauma in my and the dogs life in the last years the dog has taken to guarding myself and the house with zeal. Again a few good rules and exercises for me and my dog and well on the way to a fix. Nice chap, relaxed manner…. Thoroughly recommended. .
I have a puppy who wasn’t listening, bites, snatches food and is just a total nightmare. I found Ade on the internet he came up as the top 3 dog whisperer and behaviourist and I wish I found him sooner. He’s amazing and really nice and I couldn’t believe how he changed my dog and our way of thinking and acting towards the dog. I can’t recommend Ade enough and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent.
Ade came to our home to work on one of our dogs who was over guarding the house. Within minutes Ade had entered the home and taken control of the dog. We did some brilliant and simple exercises with our dog with immediate effects. By the time Ade left we had a transformed dog. We just need to buy into what Ade told and showed us and the results will be permanent. Thanks Ade.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Ade who has helped us understand our miniature Dachshund and her behaviour and how to correct it. Our dog Willow is a lockdown puppy who was extremely reactive with new people entering the home and outside the home, would pull on the lead and a very unsociable dog. Since Ade's training a few weeks ago I have been able to take her to busy cafe's, long walks without reacting to bikes and people and take her in a busy shopping centre with no reactivity, other than looking at me for reassurance. We have also had people visit our home and although she loves a good bark at them and takes 10/15 minutes to settle, she is listening to us and we are confident we can bring this down and she will eventually accept visitors with next to no reactivity. We were at our whits end and thought there was no hope to managing Willow's reactivity and stresses after working with another trainer who did not understand us and our dog. Willow is overall a more relaxed dog who is ready to see the outside world as fun, rather than fear, stress and anxieties. I cannot thank Ade enough for his help!
Prior to having Ade visit Dougie and ourselves, we could not get Dougie to come back to us off the lead, he would ignore our commands and was incredibly reactive to anyone walking past our house or knocking on the door. Dougie was actively aggressive to others Dogs when on the lead and always appeared on edge. Ade has taught us how to now communicate with and understand Dougie and how he is feeling and how we can properly tell him what we want from him. From simple commands in the house when he alerts us to a visitor and keeping him out of our personal space when we're cooking… Etc to now Dougie coming back to us at the first time of asking in a busy park and coming on so much with dogs passing nearby, we can't thank and commend Ade enough for helping, all in a matter of a few hours. It's only been just over two weeks, but we can already tell Dougie is much happier within himself, as though he now acknowledges his role in and out of our home. We've even dared venture into a local pub this weekend with 4 other dogs present. The progress has been astounding and it feels like it's getting better each day. Thank you Ade and anyone wondering if to use Ade's services should go for it. I can't speak for how important it is to truly understand your dog and how to communicate, I had no idea until now. Thank you ade for the time you spent with us its early days yet but everything you shown us and how to understanding alfie our cockapoo seems to respond more to us now ……. Hes totally different now I dont know what you did but hes calmer now still mad but we understand why now with your traing program any one whos reading this all I can say its amazing thanks again ade.
I am impressed with the quality of training that was shared with the dogs and me. The dogs just listened to Ade and progressed well during the session. I learnt how to get their complete attention and walk in a controlled manner without Tommy getting distracted all the time. I have been continuing with Ade's advice and have two lovely controllable dogs. There are no complicated instructions just easy to follow guidelines. I wholly recommend Ade Howe as a great value, efficient solution, to all dog and owner problems.
After seeing Ade just over 2 weeks ago with my dog Bella and changing her dog aggression from a snarling lunging out of control dog to a much calmer dog to handle its been amaizing I can take my dog for a walk anytime of the day now and walk near other dogs without her reacting badly. She is still work in progress but the transformation is so much better. I carnt thank Ade enough and would definitely recommend him to other people with problems with there dog. He really knows how to understand and communicate with dogs after unsuccessful attempts with other top so called dog trainers. Thanks Ade.
Bryn reacted well to Ade and his behaviour when we enter or leave the house is much improved. Walking on the lead is also much better. We are still working on him jumping up and trying to sit on the settee, attacking the post as it comes through the letter box and being disturbed by the phone ringing. He seems to think that the rope lead is a game but once it is on he he calms down and becomes submissive.
I was recommended The Dog Whisperer by family who had used his services before and have to say I wasn't sure quite what to expect. The help and support offered by Ade was priceless and still continues to work today. The on hand support is something that sets this service out than others.
It has now been a week since Ade came (along with his two lovely doggie assistants) to help us with our barking problem. Ade has helped enormously and took all the time we needed to show us how best to handle most of the difficult situations. Since then, walking our wee treasure has become a pleasure. Because we now know how to successfully manage Daisy when nearing other dog walkers, she now passes in silence! She has even made friends with one Post-lady. Wagging her tail and getting excited when she sees her coming… something I would never have imagined before. We know it is early days yet, but by following Ade’s advice we have already seen big improvements. Many thanks Ade!
I found Ade online to help with my St Shepherd. On the phone before the lesson he gave us some key things to do that would help with just some basic stuff that we wouldn’t have thought about before. He’s a very open and firm trainer and doesn’t hide anything away. If we did something wrong he would quickly tell us and explain the downside to all that. I would highly recommend Ade as he is a private 1-1 trainer, you get a full report of the training, he is quick to notice things you might not know and brining his dogs helps also as they can feel the body language of other dogs. Remember a dogs behaviour is environmental and not biological. Thanks again Ade!
