I would like a noticeboard on which I can write some notifications to clients as this does not link directly with my other emails. I do not care also for the limitations on the events...not all events need a door fee.

Unfortunately these gadgets do not work for some reason on some websites - I have sent a detailed explanation about how they do not work on my website but have not had an answer

Great gadget, keep up the good work

The code provided is a HTML code which needs to be 'pasted' into the 'body' of a 'HTML text' box. IT WILL NOT JUST PASTE INTO ANYTHING LIKE AN E_MAIL.

On your web building software, check the 'insert' tab to see if it lists 'web object' (or similar) 'HTML box/code' or 'XHTML box/code'. If so, click and paste the code to body of text. (copy html code from freeindex and often the insert box will have a 'paste to body' button which will do exactly that)

On e-mail, you again would need a setting to be able to 'insert HTML code' (or similar).

When done right, should look like this (click link or paste into browser bar)

Simple to copy but it doesn't work on my website - I use google sites to edit but all that appears on the website after putting in the code is the 'We have reviews on Free Index' link....
