Lightning fast new servers for FreeIndex
FreeIndex is now hosted on new super fast state of the art servers that happen to be located in a nuclear bunker. (Well you can never be too careful). The move represents a 20K infrastructure investment in the site and is part of the continued commitment from FreeIndex to provide a best of breed business information service to UK consumers and SME’s.FreeIndex is now one of the top 300 most viewed websites in the UK, and its rise in popularity has pushed the previous server set-up beyond its operating capability. This is the fourth time that FreeIndex hosting has had to be scaled up in the last 5 years.
The new servers have been installed and are managed by a great little hosting company, called ByteHouse who have played a significant role in helping us to migrate to the new facility and speed up the site. Thanks chaps – top stuff.
The site should now run significantly faster for all users and complex searches should now be at least twice as quick if not more.
We would love to hear if you think the site is noticably quicker at your end.

I haven't had any enquires yet but looking forward to them, I do find referrals are a little tricky as a lot of my clients don't want everybody to know what they had help with, hence not to high on the listings.
