Derek was a brilliant instructor, he made us feel very welcome and at ease. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, we couldn't recommend him enough. We'll definitely be back.

I had my first time clay pigeon shooting here, and it was a blast (pun intended). Derek is a really nice instructor and he offered a variety of shotguns for us to use.

Fantastic couple of hours with Derek, great paced instruction. Safety was paramount but didn't stop us all have a relaxed and fun time. Will be back the next time I'm in the area.

We learnt some great tips and gun control within such a short time we were on the clays in no time. I had my first ever try at clay pigeon shooting last week with my brother and Derek. Having never fired a shotgun of any type, I was a little apprehensive. This was quickly dispelled by Derek's calm and informative talk on safety and how to fire a shotgun. As a PE teacher, I can appreciate the need to be positive, yet firm, when teaching pupils new skills. Derek managed this and more, giving me the confidence to "have a go", which I did. The exhilaration of scoring on my first hit, coupled with Derek's ability to continually give me tips, meant that I had a thoroughly enjoyable morning, with the idea that this would not be my only attempt at this sport. I look forward to the next time.

My Dad, Brother and myself had a brilliant time shooting clays. It was the first time for all of us shooting a shotgun before and Derek made it a day to remember with his excellent instruction and tips. Would definitely recommend!

16 and 20 year old brothers had a shooting lesson today. Brilliant instruction, led to them captivated by the safety instructions as well! A really good session, fun, informative even if the Cornish rain had returned after the hot spell. If in doubt, take the plunge and try this, Derek is a star.

Derek and Peter provided my family with a first class experience, starting from total basics, safety first and top tips through to bringing out our competitive nature's. Thoroughly excellent and great fun.

Was given a 1. 5 hour course for my birthday, and I am now totally hooked! Derek is a superb instructor concentrating, above all, on safety first and then all the basics in a very professional way. He instils confidence at all levels and has an excellent sense of humour. Looking forward to my 4th course. Very recommended!

A great day out! Definitely recommend! Derek is a first class instructor and a great guy to spend time with. My wife organised an afternoon out shooting together as a surprise for me and Derek immediately made us feel very welcome and reassured with his knowledge and teaching style. I am disabled and he made the whole afternoon accessible, whilst not impinging on my wife's enjoyment. Derek took us both through the different types of shotguns in general use as well as the types we would try. He spent time to ensure we felt safe as well as comfortable with the equipment, and was very helpful in advising on good clothing choices in the event that we wish to shoot more - which we definitely will be doing! All in all, a great afternoon out, and we will definitely be going back for more! Thank you Derek!

Thank you Derek for a fantastic experience. As a birthday treat for a friend 4 of us went clay pigeon shooting with Derek. We found that Derek had the perfect mix of sensible and sincere advice and guidance with good humour and fun. I was really impressed with the lesson we had with Derek. He was professional and friendly, the lesson was great fun but safety was never compromised. We really enjoyed our lesson with Derek and Peter today. There were two novices in our group of three and after a thorough safety chat Derek had us hitting the targets in no time.
