FreeIndex Version 8 Goes Live Today!

Searches can now be carried out more easily, and our new search filters on the left-hand side of every page help you to find exactly what you want much quicker. We’ve also refined the complex search programming to improve the quality and the relevance of your results.

In short, it’s still the same great site – just faster and easier to use.

LEADS

Many of you have already benefitted from our Lead Generation Service since it was launched in September 2009. Since then, users have posted over 6,500 leads and received over 13,000 responses from FreeIndex business members.

Today, we are excited to announce the launch of the new, improved version of the leads system.

You’ll see that there’s a new Business Leads tab, making the whole system easier to locate and access. Once you’re in the Leads section, you can now specify exactly which type of leads you want to receive alerts for. Just go to “Your Lead Alert Settings”, and you’ll be able to select up to ten different categories which are related to your business.

While you’re there, check out our easy-to-use options for receiving alerts. Would you like to receive your alerts by text, email, or both? Checking and changing your alert settings is now straightforward and effortless. Just go to “Your Lead Alert Settings”.

The number of businesses which can respond to a lead has been increased to five. We’ve expanded the response system too, so now you’ll be able to give details of your availability, cost estimates, and how long the job will take, as well as send requests for more information to the user if necessary.
