New Premium Membership Payment Option
Dear FreeIndex Members.
We just wanted to let you know that it's now possible to pay for FreeIndex Premium Membership annually as well monthly. Paying annually is cheaper and effectively means you get 2 months free membership every year. You can review the many benefits of our Premium service here.
We have also introduced a small price increase as the Premium service has significantly improved over the last year but the price hasn't changed since July 2011. However as a thank you to all of our existing Premium members, the price will remain the same (frozen at ?7.95 per month) for as long as a payment plan remains active.
The last few months have been fantastically busy and FreeIndex has seen record traffic levels and more leads posted on the site than ever before. As ever we would love to hear your feedback on any aspect of FreeIndex.

I have always been impressed with Freeindex. helpful and an efficient site. I may decide to upgrade at a later date. yes we all get those that do not reply to our quotes and estimates. Probably because we are in businesses that are plentiful out there. But it is a part of life. Good luck to all that are struggling out there.
FreeIndex is brilliant for Mums looking to find a Stress Free solution to their Child's Birthday Party. Free Index has really helped me to be found on a Google searches. Great site, hopefully sometime in the future I will be able to look at your Premium service.
I get lots of business from FreeIndex. People tend to look for reviews of businesses as a guide to purchasing goods and services and a lot of people that call me have read my reviews. I rarely respond to leads as I do not have the time! I am considering paying for membership, but I can't really take on more work anyway. Keep up the good work FreeIndex.
our company have been a member on this site for a few years now, we have never won a job from this site, never even get a reply from jobs we have been interested in, we have gone for at least 100 jobs

Hi, I would look into becoming a premium member but with the amount of leads that come up in the Leicestershire area is minimal until more come available it simply isn't cost effective.

Given that I am a new company, I need to be careful of which venues I invest for further advertisement. I have seen no need to pay for the service. I still have yet to receive 1 lead. What is the index doing to promote the businesses?
Well to be honest... Free index is good for SEO, provided you fill out your profile properly with the relevant tags and so forth. And whats more, should you not be promoting your own business. You only get out what you put in.

I am interested in the premium option however my customers are complaining they are unable to leave reviews despite making very determined attemps. I have contacted customer support to no avail. I can not support buy buying the premium service until this issue is resolved.
Absolutely brilliant website, v well run and i have had £1000's of pounds worth of work from using it.

Love my ad and the responses we are receiving for less than £2 a week!

As a freelance web designer, It's very important, as for the rest of you guys, to budget for advertising. I'll be honest, I've had premium for 2 months, and saw NOTHING. not a single lead to match my settings, and no jobs won. Agree with the majority of people's comments.

I run the free advert option with Free index and have customer leads.
The term free means free, it's even in your domain name this is what made you different from other Web sites.
It's a shame just like all the other site you have now started to charge a fee to get a chance of winning work no matter how little it is.
It also seems that unless you do pay now you don't get a look or a fair chance to qoute or the jobs are posted late to none paying members ,even if they are long term or not.

It's absolutely not true that only Premium members get leads. By default we email the nearest 25 companies matching what the user is looking for (and text the nearest 5) whether they are Premium or not. We then also contact all of the Premium Members that are within 25 miles.

It's absolutely not true we have not received an email from Free index telling us of a user wanting work near us, yet I looked on free index tonight and saw someone wanting a plumber in Greenwich WHY wasn't that users details emailed to me only five minutes down the road from me, to late to go for it now as five or more companies have already gone for the job.

I think the monthly fee is very fair and reasonable as with other sites you have to pay for every job even if you don't get it and looking yearly at just under 96 per year you can be paying a lot more
