£2 million worth of leads in January
Hi all,The FreeIndex Quote Request service sent out over £2million worth of leads in January, which is pretty good going considering the current economic downturn!
Make sure you have your Lead Alert Settings set correctly to be informed about the relevant leads that come into the site every day.
Another way of getting more leads is to become a Premium member. Premium members on average receive 5 times more lead alerts so it’s safe to say they’re getting a bigger slice of the pie.
We’ve also made a change to the way Premium listings appear in results so that they are brighter and more eye-catching than the other listings. Here’s an example...

Actually those are Google ads which show on the partners sites, so you cannot compete with them, unless FreeIndex changes the placement where Google or other search engines and directories ads appear

I have signed up for the premium membership.I was hopeing to be at the top of the search page but i find that the big companies who have google ad words are at the top why his this.I am 8th
I have had some good leads and 4 jobs and they are ongoing. Thank you.

I have responded to a few leads on here, and have received 1 firm client. I have also used the service for purchasing services as well. I think it is a great free medium to be involved with.

I've received plenty of direct business enquiries from this site but have never felt the need to become a Premium Member. At least half of the direct enquiries have led to business so I have to say I'm pleased with things the way they are and don't feel the need to pay for an 'extras'.
i've had 7 leads from your site thanks for the leads its been great to have a free listing that actually creates income look forward to providing our services to more happy customers
I`ve had work as a result of this site. Only downside is premium members from other areas appear on search of my area. This can`t be right!!!

You are Premium Member. If someone requests a builder and specifies within 100 miles, you will get alerted. Premium Members always get alerted when they are with the range that the user specifies on their Quote Request.

Good morning. Having read the article I cannot help but feel very let down having seen no leads whatsoever since my upgrading to premium status and paying for the privilege. I am ranked 6th in the UK having worked tirelessly to obtain reviews and need to see results or I will b downgrading membership. Interesting to see so many others agreeing.

Sorry to hear your comments, however FreeIndex is working for you. Your FreeIndex page is in the top 5 for the search term "Independent Financial Advisors Liphook". Looking at it, not that many people are raising quote requests for Financial Advisors.

Thanks for your comments. I am glad to hear your getting enquiries. We pride ourselves on filtering as much of the spammy stuff out before it gets to you. We delete about 100 enquiries every day before they even get sent out, block hundreds of IP addresses everyday and stop people from accessing companies phone details. Sometimes its hard to distinguish between spam and what may be genuine, but we do are best.

Tie up with Google then it will be more rewarding for us. Just an observation.
Not particularly good for us who travel further than ten miles to work.
No leads from this site as far as we can see, but the email notifications don't seem to come through to us, so we wouldn't know if there was a job, pity because it looks a decent register
WE're still waiting for freeindex.co.uk to send me an email to activate the account, i may have overloaded them with requests. Im now wondering if there is anyone on the other side manning this website.

We have seen a lot less leads on here recently for IT support companies. Hope this changes soon!
Freeindex works for Century Executive Travel had a lot more enquiries which have turned into jobs. Have cancelled Yellow Pages (now called hibu) waste of money. Freeindex is free !!!
Allot of jobs on here are too far out now, and listing position is false any way, people just get friends and family on, it used to be a cracking way to get work but not really anymore if im honest, thats why i have not bothered getting any more reviews on here.Ian - Blays plumbing and heating ltd
