Based in Scotland we pride ourselves on a 'local' approach to the consultation, supply, and installation of your new central vacuum system and laundry chute. Strathvac have been installing central vacuums since 2006 and were established in 2008 as a Scottish dealership for Smart central vacuums.
Earlier this year in partnership with GED who are based in England we became the sole importer of Variovac Central Vacuums and Easyline Laundry Chutes who manufacture their products in Germany. We are the sole UK suppliers of these products.
Strathvac have a team of qualified installers who are time served tradesmen, are conversant with all aspects of the construction industry and will be able to help with any kind of installation. Whether its in a new or old house, a hospital or care home, a static caravan to a library we have even installed in an oil rig accommodation unit. Yes this system is so versatile that it can meet the needs of even the fussiest client.
Our systems can be installed by any decent DIY person but if you require a central vacuum installation, we can offer a fully trained team to install your central vacuum system and/or laundry chute in any type of building.
Strathvac has an expanding customer base, located all around Scotland and the UK and even the North of France. Our client base includes Gospel Halls, Nursing homes, Developers, Hotels, Car Washes, Oil accommodation construction, Class 10 clean rooms, Hairdressers/Barbers, Holiday homes and private and business clients.

My central vac is 23 yrs old and I was quite distraught as I didn't want to buy a hoover that I would have to pull about. I got in touch with John Graham of central vacuum systems who sourced a new motor and also fitted it as well I would certainly recommend this firm. Definitely value and service was excellent. Everyone should get this system it saves in the long term. So thanks john.
Response : Elizabeth contacted me as she was fed up of companies 'down south' not calling back or using excuses not to repair. It took me time but I managed to source a new motor and repair her system.

The work was carried quickly and efficiently with a couple of minor changes to the agreed installation being done for no extra charge. The quality of the equipment supplied is excellent.
Response : Changes were made when we were in the area so didn't have to charge for a call out. Grahams builders worked with us and helped when we were 1st fixing which was re-assuring. When pipework was accidentally damaged by a builder we were made aware and able to repair before plaster work. Customer relations are very important to us as 10% of our clients are returning customers or recommendations from previous installation.

I live in the Republic of Ireland and have got parts from Strathvac and they did exactly what I wanted. Recently the system was sluggish and I also required an end to a hose which was broken. Over the internet I have received instructions and illustrations of exactly what I should do and yes the system is like a new car now. I am very grateful for the courtesy and efficiency I have received as well as the good value for money.
Response : Mr O'Byrne has purchased a few items from us and in our last correspondence suggested his system wasn't performing the way it used to. I went through a few fault finding questions and finally found the filter required a good clean. Although this system is not ours I am happy to provide assistance which can only promote the beauty of a central vacuum system.

Strathvac installed a Variovac system in our house in Aberdeenshire and I can say without a doubt its the best 'extra' we have added to our new home. John and his team were on-site when required and fitted the system on time. We had one wee hicup when plans were changed and another which John quickly remedied on-site and over the phone. I firstly highly recommend a central vacuum system to anyone who is building and secondly recommend strathvac to supply and fit it. James Don.
Response : Mr Don came to us after being let down by a 'local' Aberdeen company. We were happy to install 1st fix only and were there for him when the installation required upgrading.

We decided to instal a central vacuuming system when we extended our house. We were undertaking much of the work ourselves and John proved to be very accommodating by doing the bulk of the installation and providing excellent advice for us to complete the job. We have no hesitation in recommending Strathvac as a supplier and the system itself is proving to be first class.
Response : Jim wanted to carryout the installation himself as he was a self builder but was unsure of a few details. We worked out a day rate and installed most of the pipe with Jim in one day. With instructions from us Jim managed to complete 1st and final fix himself.
