Couldn't recommend Richard enough. Amazing Instructor, got me to a pass first time. If your in the ST6 area I'd be booking with Richard.

Richard west is one of the best instructors around would recommend him to anyone that is looking to learn to drive he helped me to pass my test quite quickly and his instructions are brilliant about what you need to focus on.

Amazing lessons were delivered to me by Richard. If there was an issue with anything we would pull over and discuss about why I may have made the mistake and what I should have done. Demonstrations were used and visuals to support. Richard was also flexible around my univeristy and work schedule, which was really helpful. Overall I would highly reccomend anyone who is looking for driving lessons to go through Stoke Driving School!

Incredible instructor, could not have asked for someone better. I'm pretty introverted, yet I got on well with Richard, and after about 60 hours of lessons, no private practice, I had gone from knowing nothing at all about driving a manual to passing my test on the first attempt. Richard is very patient and explains everything well, as well as being very encouraging, I would recommend him to anybody.

Top Quality Driving Instructor! Richard was my 2nd driving instructor and I strongly believe if I didn’t change instructor to him I wouldn’t of progressed as quickly and wouldn’t of felt as comfortable to book and perform my driving test, it’s important to have driving instructor who makes you feel safe and comfortable and Richard does just that, Richard’s teaching style is calm and patient, and he always provided clear instructions and useful tips that made learning to drive much easier. His encouragement and constructive feedback really boosted my confidence. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor who genuinely cares about their students' progress and success.

I managed to pass my test first time with 1 minor thanks to Richard. Brilliant driving instructor and a great guy too. Really did help me develop my driving skills and push me to the level of driving independently. Would definitely recommend.

Cannot recommend Richard enough! After having quite a negative experience with a different instructor, I really didn’t enjoy driving and was anxious to start lessons but Richard put me at ease straight away! He is so patient, understanding, and really knows his stuff! He would always check if there was anything specific that I wanted to focus on, or if I was struggling with something in particular, without putting any pressure on me. I passed my test with only 2 minors and feel so confident driving now, all thanks to him! ? .

I passed my test today with only 4 minors. I’ve only ever drove with Richard and he had his work cut out with me. I suffer with an anxiety disorder but Richard stayed calm and very patient with my learning which kept me calm and gave me the confidence I needed to achieve a pass. Very good driving instructor learnt me everything I needed to know. Passed 1st time with Richard’s help. Really recommended, helped me with my anxiety & nerves always took stuff slow with me to make sure I understood everything in time.

Absolutely brilliant driving instructor, always made me feel comfortable and confident. Made me believe in my abilities and made sure I was learning at my own pace. He was also very flexible around my working hours and where he could pick me up from which really helped me to get the most lessons within the time before my test. Communication was brilliant and he also encouraged me to contact him outside of lesson time if I came across anything difficult whilst practicing in my own car. Richard helped me to pass first time with only 3 minors and I am so grateful to him!

Richard is an excellent instructor and he leaves no stones unturned unlike some instructors that prefer to cut corners and only prepare you for the practical exam rather than focusing on teaching you how to be a good driver.

Richard has been an amazing instructor right from the start of my driving journey I was made to feel Comfortable I have grew in confidence and so positive in my driving I highly recommend him to anybody wanting to start there driving.
