Thanks for this version 11 update the site looks very good! Just one question from me, are they reviews widgets codes responsive now? or at least mobile friendly?

Could you please get your team to remove the word "NONE" when clients write a review without indicating their location. It simply appears odd and I find it unprofessional. Simply leave it blank and only include their name as opposed to name None...

For some reason, my TELEPHONE contact field (button), that used to be next to Email/Add To Favourites, has now disappeared? I have checked other listings, and the field is usually there. But no longer on my profile. Any ideas?

It is very disappointing that there is practically no difference between my 'Premium' listing and all other free entries, when listed as search results, other than a subtle darker shade. My listing used to once stand out with MORE photos, MORE description and MORE details (including the phone and email) on the results. If this does not change, I shall reconsider my monthly subscription fee.

Noticed we unable to display our 0843 number?? this is a switchboard / control number so landline no good!!!!

Hi Guys.
Just a quick update.

We think we have now fixed the 404 error's people have been having on mobile devices. The problem was that Google and other search engines may of cached our old mobile site address e.g. www.m.freeindex.co.uk, which is no longer in operation as our new site is responsive and works on all devices without needing a separate address. As of this evening we have now put a redirect in place to ensure that any old mobile web addresses are redirected to the new site.

Additionally we have been hard at work over the last few days fixing various bugs which are incredibly hard to test for until lots of people are using the site. We know that we still have a few more to sort next week, but all the major stuff should now be out the way.

We need to let you know about all the improvements and changes we have made, and we plan to make a broadcast early next week. We are obviously listening very carefully to the feedback we receive over the next few weeks, and more changes may be necessary. We know that change is never easy, but we are confident that FreeIndexV11 will make a big difference for businesses and most importantly people who need your services!

and just got to bottom of my many good reviews .......to find advertising for my other nearest similar businesses !!! is it me or does this not seem like a premium business advertising plan ?

just found my phone number, above my address details !!!! this format is not widely recognized, the number usually follows the address, but if I look there, I see other plumbers numbers !! I have always been first to thank freeindex for their help in building my business but I am really surprised to see such a massive error

Hi team, I have been with you for some time now and am a premium member. I have just looked at my page and have seen that below my pictures there are four competitors and their numbers displayed before I can find mine !Can this be sorted soon please ? I cannot even see my contact details ! Where are my contact details ? Please answer this mail.

Map Default Location will not let me set it, assume it is broken?

Why cant i access the dashboard via my mobile, just comes up error, Page 404 not found! This is very disappointing!

Works fine on my laptop using Chrome but can't get on my dashboard from my HTC android phone. Worked fine before the upgrade.

Looks very simple and clear to follow for the customer, which is a good thinh.

However as a premium membership, I think this has made our company page look the same as everyone else's. We are ranked number one for our category so the are at the top of page but the extra pictures on the older version made us really stand out. Now we just look the same. Plus the list of companies looks very boring.

This is fine but I don't really see the point in paying the premium membership. I'll review it over the next week to see if here are still changes to come and then make a decision.

The Stars have gone from your Widget code using the updated code from the end of last year. Do we need to update to today's Widget, or can we leave it as is and you'll re-activate it at your end?

Note for your web designers... the rest of the site looks great though, crisp and modern code so I'd hope Google will like it better for caching. Well done.

The widget is partially broken as the Stars no longer come in with the newer Widget code.

Not sure about this yet. Few gripes:
The Search function need more prominence as not all businesses drive their customer base by quotes. Did not notice the search bar at first.
Not convinced about the speed of your servers as different sections seem to take a while to load example: history.
Updates just in Tabs what the point of those if there is no way to access them?
And lastly sorry White white everywhere, I think I got snow blindness!

On the positive the statistic are useful ( once I saw the post below I found them) though how accuarte are they? I average 50 veiws and sunddenly it doubled?

The site does look more crisp and professional. There used to be a way of seeing all the recent forum posts, has this been removed? It appears like you have to check each category individually.

There used to be a nice widget that showed how many visitors had viewed your business profile and how many had clicked through to your website but I can't seem to find this.

I've just checked out the forums and it would appear that it shows the oldest post at the top so it means you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to click 'Next' page and if there are more than two pages it means you have to scroll all the way down again to click 'Next'

Is it possible to add the 'Next' button at the top and also consider showing the latest post first and the oldest post last?

Thoroughly agree with Sarah from Event First Aid below - took an age to work out how to log in!! not clear at all. Also part of my e-mail address is truncated on my profile. Needs a bit of tidying up I think, some of the comments below are rather negative - change for changes sake? only just got used to the old layout, and I give details out to my customers on where to find the "add review" button, and then find you have moved it - hoping things improve! grrr!

Freeindex - you state Events are not part of your core business model - yet you have many users that offer services for events and gain business from the posts. This was a great section and could of been used/ advertised more and posts shared with facebook / twitter.
Over all - liking new site :-)

Help my site has gone down no access at all not good

We just found a bug which meant many things on the site (Including editing your business) haven't been working for the last few hours. This has now been fixed. Sorry - Teething trouble.

I think it looks ok but I'm having difficulty updating my whole profile. The text boxes do not appear to be working correctly. I understand there can sometimes be teething problems so I will await any rectifications you may need to do to the site.

This is ridiculous, every time i clck on dashboard etc, it comes up page not found, beyond frustrating!!!

Am not liking the new layout at all! The old layout was fantastic, you could go to one place to find the most recent jobs from all fields. Every time I had a spare couple of minutes I would pick up the laptop and have a quick look at the new jobs. Now it seems you cannot do that as you need to go into each category, you cant just pop in and have a quick look anymore.

Hmmm not goot. my entry is "not found" now Is this being rectified ?

I cannot update my existing details to a new venue and change the name of my group.

I do not like the layout AT ALL. I've just tried to post an event and it won't allow as much text as the old version and I don't tend to do long descriptions, 300 words is NOT enough. Tried to upload a photo and all I get is the warning pop-up box. I won't be using the events section anymore unless it changes.

Appears faster & looks crisper, gonna take some getting used to but am sure it will be better than before... Well done Freeindex team x
