I passed my UK Driving Test today 14th May 2026 and mine is a story I will tell for years. When I arrived in the UK, I started driving immediately using my Kenyan driving licence. My engineering job has taken me all over the UK- England, Wales, and even driving from the UK to Ireland and back. I always believed I was a good driver because I had never had any issues on the road. Then I met Mamona for a test drive That’s when I realised that all my past driving experience was not necessarily “safe driving” according to UK standards. I could not believe how many old bad habits I had developed over the years. Starting again as a learner was not easy. Converting old bad driving habits into proper UK safe driving habits took patience, discipline, and guidance. Thankfully, Mamona understood me very well. I loved learning to drive with Arfan. He has a great sense of humour but also ensures you understand your mistakes - a killer combo! He cares deeply about his students successes: every week he would tell me proudly about more of his students passing (with minimal minors). I passed first time thanks to his coaching - I could not recommend him highly enough.

Lubna was an amazing driving instructor, helping me pass on my first attempt with only three minor faults! She helped me feel really confident on the road, making sure I understood my mistakes so that they were stuck in my memory, tailoring the lessons to what I felt less secure on, and was always really friendly and kind - especially in my less confident moments! My driving instructor Lubna helped me pass my test first time with only 3 faults ! She was lovely and patient and paid attention to where my strengths and weaknesses were and planned our lessons according to those needs.
