Colin Tait is such an amazing instructor. Fitted me in when got in touch and managed to accomplished it as he made everything very clear and understandable. Very clear and patient.

I couldn't get lessons locally and they fitted me in at convenient dates and times. 100% recommended, instructor was fantastic, very patient, couldn't have had a better experience and passed my test with only 1 minor. The only way, is the smart way! THANK YOU! .

After being a learner driver for more than 20 years on and off and overall lessons was about 35. I gave up for a while, and just got car for going out with my brother sitting by my side so I could learn. I used other schools, but nothing like this one. I got instructed by Zaher which I had about 9 or 10 lessons with. Zaher was very professional and kept me right all the time. He told me he worked through the smart way driving school. So after all that I sat my Practical test on Wednesday the 25th October 2017. All thanks to Zaher and the smartway team I passed first time. I highly recommend Colin Slight he was a great instructor, he got me a pass on my test first time. He has a really busy schedule but he always makes time for you and is just a great guy, he has good chat too which always helps calm the nerves, thank you for the great servis Colin all the best for the future.

I was an incredibly nervous learner and Colin Slight was so patient and understanding. He got me through my test first time with 2 minors. Colin was very accommodating of my busy schedule and is such a genuinely nice guy. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

I would recommend Colin tait at the smart way driving school, Colin had the patients with me to get me through my theory test first time and my practical test first time :-) he made me feel confident beside the wheel and was very understanding with my busy schedule and made the time for me, I had no previous experience behind the wheel but then I met Colin he is so professional and I highly recommend him, thanks again Colin.

I can't recommend 'The Smart Way' enough, I was let down by another instructor and needed lots of lessons quick. Ray understood the situation and did some rejiging with our calanders and got me in, he was so patient and understanding, he really focuses on his students being safe confident drivers, not just passing a test! (Although thanks to his tuition and encouragement I did with 2 minors! ).

Colin s is a lovely driving instructor who helped me to pass my test first time, I'm over the moon and grateful for the great service he provided throughout my lessons, would definitely recommend!

Colin Tait passed my partner and I first time. He was very competent, patient, and helpful. He was also very easy to get along with which I think is very Important in a driving instructor. Highly recommeneded.

After my cousin had lessons with Ray he recommended him to me. I am very happy that I decided to go with Ray as he is a very patient driving instructor. Because of the nature of my job I found that lessons needed to be cancelled at the last minute. Ray was very understanding and acommodated this well. Thanks Ray for getting me through my test. I passed my test a week ago first time with 2 minors all thanks to Mandy. She is an excellent teacher who takes the time to explain everything to you. She doesn't rush you and she is generally a lovely person so it makes lessons relaxed and comfortable for the learner. Thank you for everything Mandy - I couldn't have done it without you.

Mandy. What can I say about Mandy. Well she is the only reason I passed my test! I used to say that Mandy was my Councillor as well as Driving Instructor. She is such a kind honest hard working person. Throughout the course of my lessons I often heard of students coming on board with Mandy with their horror stories from other instructors in West Lothian which was frightening really! Why bother going through all that - go to Mandy first. Her way of explaining things is exceptional. Mandy remains calm at all times and shouting does not EVER come into the equation. Her instructions are clear and concise which prepares you for your test. I write this review in the hope that somebody pays attention to it and gives Mandy a phone call.
