We are the Driving Academy, a driving school based in Liverpool founded in 2003, with over 30 years experience in driving lessons as a foundation we are a brilliant choice to learn to drive with.We cover the whole of Liverpool, Ormskirk and Southport and we personally check all of our instructors to ensure they are the best available. We are family run and our reputation is important to us.

Passed my test first time with Ken! He was so so helpful, really made me relax. I had built up driving to be this massive thing as I had left it until the age of 31 to start learning and so Ken made it seem so easy and made me just chill out! I would definitely recommend him. I also passed within a month aswell and he was really helpful working the schedule around me etc and even let me cram in some extra lessons before the test date to calm my nerves.

I passed 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed my lessons with Liam! Absolutely fantastic instructor couldn’t be more flexible and always has a smile on his face! Made learning really easy especially after experience I had with my previous driving instructor. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

This driving school is very unreliable and unprofessional. My driving instructor cancelled on me 3 weeks before my test because I did not contact him to cancel a lesson as I was in hospital with a serious case of pneumonia, however I did cancel one 24 hours before a lesson on my second lesson due to child care,also his car was not fit for purpose as he stated himself on social media! (Matty) my complaint has not been taken seriously nor have I been apologised to. However lucky for me I passed my test but the 5 lessons with this incompetent driving school did not help! The review above is the driving school itself that's how bad it is!
Response : Hi Nyssa, You are obviously still unhappy despite passing your test just 3 weeks after Matty refused to continue your driving lessons. It is 8 months after your original complaint and we have stood by our decision, YOU cancelled lessons with Matty within the 48 hour notice period and on one occasion your husband let him sit outside without telling him. This is Matty's job and the hours you did not turn up for cost him money, the money he relies on to provide for him and his family. The driving lessons were cancelled due to your actions, not Matty's. He has worked for us for over 2 years and has nearly 100 passes in that time with you being the only unhappy customer. We tried to pass you over to a different instructor not associated with our driving school and we told you the relevant bodies you could complain to, we did take your complaint seriously and found it had no Merritt.Moreexpand_more
