Ron is truly a one of a kind driving instructor; there was never a moment of awkwardness in the car (which many people fear with an instructor) and I had such a laugh whilst learning to drive with him. His teaching approach ensures that you are able to feel confident in yourself when driving, for both your test and after you have passed, whilst ultimately having a fun time! When there were moments that I was struggling, Ron was calm, patient and encouraging which allowed me to also relax and work on these improvements effectively, resulting in me passing my test FIRST TIME! Honestly could not recommend him more.

I learnt to drive with Ron January-June 2018. Ron was an exceptional instructor - extremely thorough, precise, and great at spotting weaknesses and areas for improvement. He was also very personable, professional, and his services are, as such, great value for money. Ron is a wonderful instructor. He is very patient and calm so you always feel at ease whilst with him. Very easy to talk to and his lessons are varied and informative. I passed my test first time with one minor so I will recommend Ron to everyone who is needing a driving instructor! The instructor was very friendly and put me at ease very quickly. He was good at explaining things and has lots of knowledge of how the test works - I felt very prepared. He agreed to see me at short notice for a few one off lessons and was really flexible with timings which was very useful, and was happy to teach me in his car or my own.

Ron was recommended by a friend as an instructor who gets first class results. This was not an exaggeration. His no nonsense and focused approach meant our 17 year old son with no previous driving experience was test ready after 12 lessons. Ron was a great tutor for me. I was very nervous and wary of driving and Ron not only made me feel confident when in control of the car, but even had me laughing and chatting normally throughout the lessons. With Ron's help I passed first time with only a couple of minors. I recommend him to all my friends when they are looking for instructors. I believe that he is not only a great teacher but also an incredibly genuine, friendly person.

Thanks to Ron I managed to pass my test first time with only 3 minors. Ron is an excellent instructor taking the time to explain things when confused, keeping me calm and he has a great personality. Amazing friendly instructor who takes his time to ensure you are comfortable with all of the test routes and manoeuvres. Ron is an excellent character and will always support your learning and work his schedule around your lifestyle as best he can. He never missed an appointment and kept me positive in the difficult situations. Passed today due to his excellent advice and training, would happily advise friends and family to use his service.

Ron was my second driving instructor after having a pretty bad experience with my first one leaving me with very little confidence. I am so thrilled that I chose to get driving lessons through Streetwise. Ron is such an enthusiastic teacher, and he really helped me to grow in confidence as a driver. Having failed my driving test before under a different instructor, Ron helped me regain the confidence I lost to the point where I have now passed with zero minors and I have no doubt that I couldn't have gotten there without him. Calm, reassuring, friendly and above all just a lovely guy, I'm genuinely going to miss my lessons with him. I'm usually quite sceptical of reviews in general but if anything, the ones on here don't do him justice. He not only taught me how to drive and drive well, but to also believe in my abilities and I honestly couldn't recommend him enough.

Ron helped me massively not only with learning to drive but with my self confidence and constant reassurance to believe in myself. He helped me persevere when I struggled with my driving abilities and always made sure that he was 100% focused on his work. There would be nobody else I would recommend for driving.
