As an American moving to the UK, learning to drive a manual transmission and understanding the rules of the road in England was a significant challenge. After taking lessons with Shaun I was not only able to pass my test on the first go (with only 2 driving faults), but also gained the confidence I needed to drive safely in a new country. I would recommend Shaun to both new drivers and experienced drivers looking to pass the UK driving test!

Kirsty is a great driving instructor, she explains things really well and gives great feedback so you know exactly what you need to work on. Always appreciated her asking what I want to work on/ what I do not feel as confident doing so we could work on those till I was, and I liked that she asked how as well, i. E prompts or me speaking out loud. Her tips are really great not just for the test but for overall driving.

I would like to thank and recommend Louise as a great driving instructor. She taught me the basics of driving here in the UK as a driver from a country that uses left hand cars its really a big change and adjustment for me but Louise helped me step by step and been very patient with me all throughout and I really appreciate all the support till the end.

I used Street Driving School for about a year and a half. I had driven before, but many years ago. I am autistic and dyslexic, and I found Street Driving School to be the best fit for me. My instructor was Louise, who was very understanding, extremely patient, and encouraging. She explained things in multiple ways to help me understand and adapted her communication style to suit my learning needs, which I was extremely grateful for. Learning to drive in my 30s, I found Louise’s encouragement and support invaluable, and I would genuinely look forward to my lessons. Even when I made mistakes, I always left feeling confident and positive about the next lesson. I chose Street Driving School because of a review from someone with learning difficulties who praised their approach. Out of all the driving schools I’ve tried, Street Driving has made me feel the most relaxed and confident. They taught me how to truly drive, not just how to pass the test, and because of that, I now feel confident driving in any situation. I would highly recommend them, especially to those with learning difficulties, as they are very accommodating. Shaun was a fantastic instructor. He has a calm demeanor which is especially helpful when just starting out, taking all the stress out of making mistakes. Passed first time with just 3 minors. You couldn't find a better instructor.

Just passed on my first test all thanks to the lovely Louise! Got back into learning after a few years break and was so nervous, Louise was so lovely and calm throughout the process and does a great job of teaching you how to be a safe and calm driver ! :).

I had lessons with Kirsty for just under a year and recently passed my test. She was always very accommodating of my holiday periods, which made scheduling much easier. Her teaching style is patient, clear, and practical - she broke down skills into simple steps that were easy to remember and apply. I found it especially helpful when she used the iPad to go over roundabouts and lane markings, as it made everything much easier to understand before and after practicing on the road. She was also very straightforward if I wasn’t doing something correctly, but always explained the better way to approach it in a logical and supportive manner. I’m really grateful for her guidance and would definitely recommend Kirsty and Street Drive to anyone learning to drive!
