Kirsty is brilliant. Had my lessons with her and she was so helpful! From someone who didnt know a thing about a car she has been great! We made the decision to push my test back and im glad we did! Today I passed my test first time with only 4 minors! Thankyou for everything Kirsty x.

I used Street Driving School for about a year and a half. I had driven before, but many years ago. I am autistic and dyslexic, and I found Street Driving School to be the best fit for me. My instructor was Louise, who was very understanding, extremely patient, and encouraging. She explained things in multiple ways to help me understand and adapted her communication style to suit my learning needs, which I was extremely grateful for. Learning to drive in my 30s, I found Louise’s encouragement and support invaluable, and I would genuinely look forward to my lessons. Even when I made mistakes, I always left feeling confident and positive about the next lesson. I chose Street Driving School because of a review from someone with learning difficulties who praised their approach. Out of all the driving schools I’ve tried, Street Driving has made me feel the most relaxed and confident. They taught me how to truly drive, not just how to pass the test, and because of that, I now feel confident driving in any situation. I would highly recommend them, especially to those with learning difficulties, as they are very accommodating. Shaun was a fantastic instructor. He has a calm demeanor which is especially helpful when just starting out, taking all the stress out of making mistakes. Passed first time with just 3 minors. You couldn't find a better instructor.

Just passed on my first test all thanks to the lovely Louise! Got back into learning after a few years break and was so nervous, Louise was so lovely and calm throughout the process and does a great job of teaching you how to be a safe and calm driver ! :).

I had lessons with Kirsty for just under a year and recently passed my test. She was always very accommodating of my holiday periods, which made scheduling much easier. Her teaching style is patient, clear, and practical - she broke down skills into simple steps that were easy to remember and apply. I found it especially helpful when she used the iPad to go over roundabouts and lane markings, as it made everything much easier to understand before and after practicing on the road. She was also very straightforward if I wasn’t doing something correctly, but always explained the better way to approach it in a logical and supportive manner. I’m really grateful for her guidance and would definitely recommend Kirsty and Street Drive to anyone learning to drive!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Shaun from Street Drive. I passed my test on the first try with zero faults, and honestly, I couldn’t have done it without him. Shaun is super patient, calm, and really knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense. He made every lesson feel relaxed but focused, and he always knew exactly what I needed to work on. His tips really stick with you and gave me the confidence to drive safely and pass perfectly. If you’re looking for a driving instructor who genuinely cares and wants you to succeed, Shaun is 100% the one. I’m so glad I learned with him. Can’t recommend him enough. Thank you again, Shaun!

- *5 Stars – Cheers to Shaun, the Northern Driving Legend! **. Where do I even begin with Shaun? The man, the myth, the Leeds United-supporting legend who somehow turned a nervous wreck like me into a confident driver without needing therapy afterwards. From the first lesson, it didn’t feel like a typical driving lesson - no awkward silences, no robotic instructions, and definitely no passive-aggressive clipboard tapping. Instead, it felt like jumping in the car with a very calm mate (who just happened to be incredibly good at getting people test-ready). Somehow, Shaun made every drive feel more like a road trip than a classroom on wheels - just with a lot more roundabouts and slightly fewer service station snacks. What really set Shaun apart is his patience. I mean saint-level patience. I stalling, missed gear changes that nearly summoned a new noise from the car, and once took a wrong turns - and not once did he flinch. Just calmly helped me figure it out, always with a grin and some classic northern wit. It will live rent-free in my head forever. ).He’s got this knack for making everything click. Before I knew it, I wasn’t just ‘doing lessons’, I was genuinely driving. Confidently. Safely. Even parallel parking without tears. That’s a miracle in itself. He gave me so many tips that I can jump into any car and manoeuvre it as an extension of my body! Tips that I now show very experienced drivers who are amazed. And to top it off, when I passed, I swear he looked more chuffed than I did. That’s the kind of instructor Shaun is - he genuinely cares. So if you're looking for someone who'll teach you to drive without stress, with a laugh along the way, and will celebrate your wins like you’ve just scored the winning goal at Elland Road… Shaun’s your man. Louise is amazing! Passed first time and every lesson was fun and progress was always being made. She taught my 2 sisters who also passed first time so she is very good. Really nice woman and always up for a chat and a laugh while still keeping it professional and always learning :).

Shaun has taught all of our family to drive and has always offered a phenomenal service. He is very communicative and responsive. I first met Shaun after googling intensive courses for our eldest daughter in 2014. He was absolutely amazing and after missing her first test due to not having her provisional licence on her, he managed to get her a test 5 days later. In the middle of all of that, my sister passed away. Shortly after, he managed to get my brother in law through his driving test quickly to allow him to get his children to school after they lost their mother. He then passed my eldest son, Jack. Followed by Jamie and Ben, after only a few lessons. He then passed my nephew Morgan, with zero faults. More recently, he passed my son, Sam, two days ago after only 10 lessons and moved heaven and earth to accommodate a driving test cancellation, which Shaun provided the details for. We will be forever grateful to Shaun and his wife for their amazing service and feel incredibly lucky that all of our children have passed with him. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a caring, genuine instructor. My advice would be to get in there before he retires.Moreexpand_more

Many thanks to Kirsty, passed first time, lessons were always on dates that worked and focused on what I struggled with. Also it was very calm so I would recommend as driving can be stressful as a new driver.

Louise has been the most incredible instructor I could have asked for. She was very patient, allowed me to ask questions whenever even if I had already asked them previously and never made me feel silly for being the learner. Very reliable and a top quality instructor who I was very lucky to have teach me.

Louise was an amazing instructor, could not fault her. She was able to put up with me through all my silly mistakes and drove me to passing my test. Not only this but she’s a lovely person and I never left her car without a smile!
