Steve Mayne Driver Training

Steve is an absolutely fantastic driving instructor. Before my lessons with Steve, I was anxious, nervous and never believed driving independently was something I could do. From my very first lesson with Steve, he made me feel at ease. He taught me to drive in a way which kept me calm and made things simple and easy for me to understand. It has been an absolute pleasure to have lessons with you Steve - and passing today with 0 minors is a credit to you, and it has been the perfect end to my learning to drive journey. I’ll be forever grateful - thank you for everything! .

I had a course of refresher lessons to help boost my confidence and re-establish my skills. Steve has been brilliant, ever so patient, helping me learn new ways of learning manoeuvres. I was originally quite nervous about being back behind the wheel but over time due to my encouraging lessons with Steve my confidence has grown. Thank you!

I have doing driving lessons with Steve for a year and a half now. He has been brilliant, I have passed my test today and I’m over the moon. I would highly recommend Steve mayne as a driving instructor to all. He is polite, caring, patient and funny. He has great knowledge of road law/safety. He taught me different ways to do different manoeuvres which was better suited for me. I got my pass first time with him and I am forever grateful. Thankyou Steve!

Steve taught my son to drive and he enjoyed every lesson and must have been very well taught to pass first time and with no minors. My son has been nothing but complimentary and positive about his experience learning to drive with Steve.

Ste is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met doubled with being a great instructor, I never felt rushed or pressured and I was always smiling before I got on the car and when I got out, any one looking for an instructor should look at Ste I’d put 10 stars if I could.

To anyone looking for driving lessons/refresher lessons, I wholeheartedly recommend Steve as an instructor! I started refresher lessons with Steve to regain my driving confidence, since I hadn’t had access to a car for a few years after passing my test. Right from the first lesson, he helped to put me at ease being behind the wheel again. He was always really friendly and encouraging! He listened to my input, and planned lessons that let me practice the skills I wanted to improve. He let me make lots of decisions during our drives too, so that I never felt pressured, and I could learn at my own pace. Then at the end of every lesson, he’d make sure to give me feedback about what went well and what could be improved on. I can also tell that Steve genuinely cares about his students, and making sure they have the skills to be safe, confident drivers. That’s definitely something he helped me with, since I now feel much more positive about my driving ability!Thank you so much for the past couple of months Steve! Steve is a great guy, a brilliant instructor, very easy to get along with and it was a pleasure to share a car with him for the last 7 months. I’m not the most confident chap, but Steve was able to work with me in a way that slowly increased my confidence around being on the road, and resulted in a first time pass, with no minors. Obviously it takes two to tango, but having a great instructor makes things easier. If you choose Steve, you’ll get an experienced instructor, a great communicator and someone who is passionate about his pupils. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He knows Warrington like the back of his hand, and all his experience/knowledge of the area is such an incredible resource when learning to drive here. At risk of overusing this word, but it’s been a pleasure, and yesterday’s test result was a huge moment in my life. Thank you, Steve. .

Steve’s driving tuition and knowledge is really amazing, thorough driving training, great communication, and I would recommend Steve to anyone for driving tuition. Great guy, thanks again Steve.
