From my first impression and lesson I knew I had made the right choice for a driving instructor. I honestly cannot recommend Steve highly enough. He took I, an older (much older than your normal student) nervous and anxious student, who had thought driving had passed him by to a first-time pass, with no majors and very few minors. More than that, he taught me to drive safely and confidently and not just to pass a test. Steve is calm, consistent, reliable, communicative, knowledgeable and highly professional. Endlessly patient, Steve challenged me to make incremental improvements each session. He breaks down the complex (big in my mind) driving manoeuvres into easy, manageable steps, providing encouragement each step of the way. He was able to centre me and get me to refocus when it looked like I would never “get it” or seemed to have forgotten my progress from the previous session, and did so with friendliness, concern and humour. Steve is an amazing instructor. Being my second after my first became an invigilator he is very experienced and it shows in his teaching methods. Listen to Steve and you will be at a level to pass as I did first time without a minor.

Steve was my first and onely driving instructor and was an amazing with building my confidence in the car. He was very understanding with the stress of driving and was accommodating of my collage timetable. He is a lovely guy and I passed on my first go!

Steve was amazing to work with I had a few instructors before him, but none could do the job like Steve he made everything clear, stayed patient, and really helped me build my confidence behind the wheel I couldn’t recommend him enough if your looking to get booked in for some lessons I highly recommend you do.

Really pleased I trained with Steve, helped to pass first time with few minors. Very friendly and supportive, sets really high standards and from very early on identified areas of strength and targets for improvement. Used the in-car video for review and analysis, very creative in using iPad apps to explain teaching points or analogies to explain new manoeuvres Very flexible and always accommodating of changing schedules to book lessons.
