Established in 2004, Smart Driver Academy is based East of Leeds and has many years of experience in the driving schools profession, having worked in manual and automatic. The school provides driving instruction to clients in Leeds and to the North and East of the City.

Peter Scott, your instructor at Smart Driver Academy, provides driving tuition services in AUTOMATIC car. The car is a Toyota Corolla self-charging Hybrid, so works on petrol and electric power.

Whether you are just beginning, have some experience already, you might fancy switching from learning in a manual car or you are coming back after taking time out and you want to take your driving test, Peter can help you. Peter also specialises in helping people with learning difficulties and statemented needs. Your driving lessons are tailored to meet your personal requirements, so Peter will ensure that he understands what it is you are looking for will be cost effective, rewarding and fun at the same time, helping you to acquire and maintain a high standard of driving skills and pass your driving test as soon as you are ready. Peter provides driving lessons across the Leeds area, he can be flexible and accommodates different pick-up and drop-off points when arranged in advance. The areas covered include the North and East of the City, and driving tests can be at any of the Test Centre in West Yorkshire.

Peter is a fully qualified DVSA (Driving Vehicles Standards Agency) approved driving instructor or DVSA ADI. Only DVSA ADI's can legally provide driving tuition services to you in return for payment. As well as his main qualification, Peter also studies topics of relevance to particular driving challenges, such as legal requirements, with vision, health and safety, learning difficulties or disabilities, driver confidence and anxiety and he uses different teaching styles eg coaching, NLP and CBT.

Also if you are a qualified driver, maybe you have nerves or a confidence issues, or you have been driving for some time, but have an area in your driving that concerns you, then Peter can help with that too.
