Nice guy to learn with only had a couple lessons. Passed 1st time. Nice clean car… Pushed me hard but was worth it ? .

I was a very nervous driver but with Phil's patience and encouragement he made me feel a lot more at ease. His hard work and excellent training made me pass first time. I would highly recommend Phil.

I couldn’t recommend Phil enough, he has a lot of patience but won’t sugar coat when mistakes are made. I passed today first time thanks to Phil, thank you Phil for your time and Patience and for getting me to test standard so quickly !

Excellent driving instructor. Pushed me hard however really payed off and gave me all the time and attention I needed to pass in 2 months. Highly recommend if you’re looking to achieve high standards quickly.

I have had a fantastic learning experience with Phil. He has great patience, especially as I was particularly nervous at the beginning. Phil makes lessons enjoyable as well as productive. Could not thank him enough!

I wholeheartedly recommend Phil. Phil has demonstrated tremendous patience (and I definitely tried his patience to the max)! Phil will tailor his approach to the individual and, despite his many years of experience, still embraces new ideas and approaches to teaching, which he then brings to his lessons. Phil's use of a camera was really useful to be able to look back and see what I'd done and how I might have done it differently in certain situations. Phil understands that lesson time is valuable and doesn't waste time going over things he knows you already can do. He will also accommodate whatever you feel is the most valuable use of a lesson (even if that means spending a whole lesson practicing bay parking, which was what I wanted to do in my last lesson before my test)! Having passed with Phil, we plan to go back to ask him to teach my partner to drive too!

Phil was such an amazing instructor, he was very patient as I was a very nervous driver. He also taught me things that was not needed for test but that would make me a better and safer driver. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone who is learning how to drive, he made me feel completely at ease while in the car with him.

I passed my test first time thanks to Phil. He was flexible with lessons and able to fit me in around my working hours. He has great patience and knows when you need to take a minute to de-stress. He uses videos as well as diagrams to explain things in detail, which I found to be particularly helpful. The car was always clean and well maintained which made it comfortable to learn in. Phil was always early for the start of my lessons and would let me know far in advance of any problems that would mean re-scheduling. I felt safe, relaxed and really enjoyed the experience.

Phil was an amazing driving instructor! I had been with someone else before and didn't have good experience so was worried with trusting another instructor but Phil put me to ease and helped me pass my test in 5 months. I will always recommend Phil.

I passed my test this weekend, first time, with only 2 faults! Phil gave me the skills and confidence I needed to take my test, drive safely and effectively and allow me to pass with only 8 hours of lessons under my belt. Phil made it very easy to learn, he was clear when he was giving any instructions or feedback and would also regularly ask me what I felt I needed to improve on or practice. Genuine and nice guy. Pleasure to be in the car with and would highly recommend to family/friends.

Phil taught me to pass my test first time round after having only 30 lessons! I enjoyed my time with him very much as he makes you feel calm and relaxed when in his company and has plenty to chat about! He offers a high standard of teaching and gives his 100% when having a lesson. I would reccomend him to anyone looking for a professional yet easy-going instructor.

Phil recently helped me pass my test first time round, which after having bad experiences with other instructors is something I didn't think I could do. He is a brilliant trainer who taught me how to drive safely, look after a car properly and to become more confident. Phil always found a way to get the best out of me and my driving, and always had a very positive and calming way of dealing with my nervousness. I would highly recommend Phil to any new driver.

Phil has been a great instructor has taught me to be a more confident driver whilst ensuring I take the best care with the car. I passed today and Phil really helped calm my nerves and to just get on and do it.

Phil is a patient instructor who was able to identify the best pace to teach me everything I needed to be a safe driver. I was a very nervous driver but Phil gave me the confidence to get out on the road and helped me to pass my test first time! Not only a great teacher but also a lovely guy who makes you feel comfortable and can have a laugh. Definitely missing our weekly lessons and would 100% recommend!

Phil is clearly someone who knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to teaching new drivers. He is able to maintain the confidence of whoever he us teaching, which is paramount to passing the test. Phil has knowledge that many other professionals do not have when it comes to the TEACHING aspect, which I the end was one of the things that makes him such an excellent instructor.
