Pam was a fantastic instructor. I felt overwhelmed at first and asked her to take it slow. After I became comfortable on the road, I really wanted her to grill me on my technique before the test. She was able to match me on what I needed throughout the lessons. I also had issues with understanding roundabout theory (I'm American), and it was no problem to go over them as much as I needed during lessons, both in theory and in practice. Thanks to Pam's instruction, I feel confident driving here in the UK and was able to pass my exam first time with no faults.
Pam has been extremely supportive and patient whilst giving me the confidence to be more independent. She took me on after a previous instructor stopped booking my lessons and she taught me all I needed to pass first time. She is friendly and puts you at ease. I can’t thank her enough, I am going to go for motorway lessons with her to build confidence! Thanks again Pam.
I really enjoyed every lesson with Pam and Highly recommend I suffer from anxiety and she made the whole experience for me great she helped me gain confidence in my driving and explained everything really well she was always on time for every lesson I would definitely recommend lessons with Pam .
Pam is the Guru in car Lessons. She has sheer knowledge in traffic rules - even the minute ones which a lot of people ignore and trust they are very very useful to know. Why I used the word Guru is because she takes the end to end ownership, will correct you immediately and also provides a constructive coaching and feedback later. She would even scold you if you keep repeating the same mistake e. G. Crossing speed limit or not following MSMS in right sequence. I passed with just 2 minor faults and the remark from examiner was “Well done” and that was not for me but for Pam. Thank you so much Pam ! My only request to one and all is please behave on roads in the same manner like you did it on your Test day. This will ensure all road users remain safe and happy ?.
I am an American who has been driving for 20+ years and yet I was so intimidated to take my UK driving test. Pam was exactly the instructor I needed. She gave me focused lessons on the parts of the test, manuevers, and particularly roundabout positioning I needed to master to pass. I know how to drive, I needed to learn how to pass the test and what to look out for. I had about 10 lessons with Pam and every time she picked up something I could improve on to better my chances of passing. I highly recommend her. And great comfortable automatic car.
I used Pam B back in 2019 to get my automatic license. I put off driving for soo long because I was a bit of a nervous driver and I specifically wanted a female teacher. Pam was very patient with me and I passed first time! So when I had to take my manual test for work I knew straight away who I needed to talk to! I was very reluctant to drive manual because I really didn’t get on with the clutch, but she explained it in a way that made sense to me. I passed first time in April and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I feel soo confident with the clutch now I am even switching from an automatic car to a manual - something I never ever thought I would do.
I cannot recommend Pam more highly. Both of my children had had previous lessons with less good instructors and when we moved over to Pam she had quite a bit of sloppy habits to correct. She is a stickler for detail but very patient and never unfriendly and both children grew in confidence and skill over the months. It was all quite on/off/on /off because of Covid restrictions changing over the last 18 months but we were delighted that both children passed with flying colours with Pam's help and are now confident and responsible drivers.
