Melvin Meakins Automatic ADI

I can’t thank Melvin enough! I never thought I would see the day where I would be saying “ I’ve passed! ” Melvin has been so patient, understanding and supportive throughout my driving lessons. Even though I panicked over EVERYTHING throughout, he would quickly put me at ease and work on my confidence, he would never doubt me even if I doubted myself. From being with multiple driving instructors Melvin has definitely been the one to understand me, never doubted me and aways understood me and most importantly got me to finally see the day where I said “ I’ve passed”. Thank you Melvin for being a great instructor! ? .

Melvin is a quality instructor. He helped my pass my driving test on my second attempt! Around 4 months start to finish. His experience and knowledge is priceless and this really helped me pass, every time I had a lesson he was always on time and I enjoyed every lesson I had with him, he talks to you in a calm and friendly manner, thanks to him I now have so much independence so thank you Melvin !

I cannot praise or thank Melvin enough - as an older driver with so many stops and starts I never thought I would be able to achieve this. I have no doubt it is only Melvin’s expertise, patience and knowledge delivered in such a calm reassuring professional yet friendly way that made this happen for me. Melvin was a Brilliant driving instructor, always on time for lessons, helped me to understand bits if I wasn't too sure the first time he explained things. He had a great personality and was a very friendly individual which made lessons more fun and helped me to learn things quicker. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to pass their test quickly.

I was an extremely timid and scared driver to begin with, but Melvin was so kind and understanding and showed complete patience with me. Very pleased with the instruction I received from Melvin. Having struggled with driving lessons some years ago, I did not think I would pass. I found Melvin to be patient and increased my driving confidence with each lesson. After making a silly mistake on my first test (only 2 minors! ) Melvin was able to find me a cancellation date that was just three weeks later - I was very impressed.

Melvin is a fantastic driving instructor. He is exceptionally patient and calm. He has clear and logical methods to master driving maneuvers such as reversing around corners and reverse parking. Most importantly for me, he helped me stay calm when I felt very anxious about the driving exam and because of this I was able to pass the driving test first time! I highly recommend Melvin to anyone in need of a driving instructor.

When I met Melvin I already had an 20+ lesson experience with another instructor and to be honest I couldn't even control a car properly. With his professional attitude ,experience and patience he corrected all the mistakes in just couple of lessons and after few months I passed my test first time ! I was a student of Melvin's for 8 months. I passed on my second try, and only failed my first attempt with a few minors and one major on a manoeuvre. I found Melvin to be very patient and encouraging, and he always found a way of explaining things so that I could understand. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else who 'thinks' they are too nervous or wouldn't imagine themselves driving. I never thought it would happen but if you persevere then it will! Thanks Melvin.

Melvin taught me to drive for 15 months and has helped me gain my confidence as a driver and after each driving test (which I failed 4 times), he ensured that I understood and practiced on the errors I made until I got them right. Before Melvin taught me to drive I had 3 instructors who weren't helpful and patient as Melvin has been with me and I managed to pass on my 5th driving test attempt earlier on this week!

I was very anxious when driving and found it diffiult to concerntrate sometimes. Melvin was very patient and reassuring which helped me to ease up and learn to drive safely. He was also very flexible with date and time of lessons which helped me to learn driving around my schedule. He was also very thorough with his lessons, I have passed my test and now driving confidently on my own.
