Luke 1st School of Motoring

Jim is a positive, enthusiastic and friendly instructor. I was over the moon when I found out that I had passed my driving test. With Jim's friendly manner he makes you feel at ease and makes you feel really confident in your driving ability. Some instructors only teach you to be able to pass your driving test but Jim teaches you how to become a safe, smart and well rounded driver which is more inportant than just passing the test. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone that is looking for a driving instructor.

I was recommended to go with jim at Luke first by a friend. Very glad that I done my lessons with him. Very friendly and made driving fun. Always up for a laugh and taught me the importance of road safety. I have recommended jim to everyone I know as I feel he is best in the business and hope for him to carry on in his great success as a driving instructer.

Jim has an unbelievable amount of patience. I always hear people talking about how they've just got on a dual carriageway or have just got into 5th gear on their 15th lesson, whereas I remember how Jim trusted me enough to do that on my 2nd lesson! He is one of the friendliest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and would highly recommend him to anyone who mentions that they're looking for a driving instructor. It is obvious that he really cares about his pupils becoming capable drivers as well as passing their test as soon as possible. Each lesson with Jim is money worth spending.

Safe to say if it wasn't for Jim I wouldn't of passed my driving test first time! Would definetly recommend Jim to anyone he is patient, friendly and has a good way of explaining things so you understand. Is always flexible and fits lessons to suit. When l first started lessons with Jim I was nervous and driving didnt come naturally, he helped me calm my nerves and become a confident driver and cant thank him enough :) !

So pleased to have chosen Jim at Luke 1st, he is a great instructor and has a lot of patience. When you make a slip up, he wont make you feel rushed or nervous, he keeps you calm and encourages you to continue. He tells you exactly what you need to work on so there isn't any confusion, and you can get to work on getting better at it. He wants you to be the best driver you can be, and I think he has achieved that with me. (Passing with 1 minor fault) Hands down, one of the nicest and coolest driving instructors around. Highly recommended!

Best driving instructor ever! Jim is so patient, friendly and encouraging, passed my test first time with him after years of trying and several fails with other instructors. And I really enjoyed my lessons too.

Jim is an amazing instructor was so patient with me and would always find a way of explaining things so that I understood, jim didnt just teach what would happen in the test he taught me how to make sure I would be a safe driver. Known Jim almost all my life from being the postman I waited on every day to being my driving instructor. Fantastic instructor teaches you how to drive and be safe whilst you do it instead of teaching just how to pass the test which is the way it should be done. If you're going to learn to drive Jim at Luke 1st Driving is the way to go as in my opinion he's the best in the area we live in.
