Learning to drive in the UK after moving from Nigeria was a big transition for me - especially coming from driving on the right-hand side of the road and barely having to deal with roundabouts, let alone multi-lane ones! But Helen made this entire journey so much smoother and less overwhelming. She was incredibly patient and kind, always ready with practical tips that truly helped me understand not just how to drive, but how to drive confidently and safely in the UK. Her ability to break down complex situations into manageable steps was amazing - especially when it came to handling roundabouts, lane discipline, and those tricky test routes. What stood out most was how calm and supportive she was, even when I was full of nerves or doubting myself. There were days she wasn’t feeling her best, yet she still showed up for me with a smile and the same positive energy. That level of commitment and care meant so much. I did automatic driving lessons with Michaela and she was an absolutely amazing instructor! Thanks to her calm and relaxed teaching style, I passed first time with zero faults - all within just a few months. She made learning to drive a really positive experience and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I have first time passed my test today with Helen Gibbs. She is very hard working, respectful, structured, clear and positive mind instructor. Her motive is that she genuinely wants you to be a good driver and teaches all the important skills, manoeuvres and roundabouts required to pass the test. I really recommend her to everyone, her patience level is outstanding and she never gets aggressive. I am glad that I found her, I was struggling with my learning with other instructors before starting with her. She's a 5-star instructor. I thank Lendrums for connecting me to her.

I highly recommend lendrums driving and highly recommend Abde as a driving instructor, his way of teaching and mannerisms were great and I always felt calm and welcomed when on my lessons which helped me pass my test!

My Instructor Dave, was amazing so friendly I felt extremely comfortable driving with him. He never made me feel down if I did anything wrong. He focused on the positive feedback rather then the negative. He was fantastic, couldn’t of passed without him.

Matt is an absolute legend. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I’d had two instructors before finding Matt, but I just didn’t connect with them in the same way. They didn’t have the same level of patience or understanding of how a Dyspraxia and ADHD brain works like Matt does. He could always tell when I was getting in my head, and he was clear about what I needed to do, where to improve, and always reassuring. He’s also incredibly supportive, and his communication is spot on - he always kept me in the loop and made sure I felt prepared. On top of that, he’s hilarious - you’ll be cracking jokes while learning, which makes the lessons way more enjoyable and really puts you at ease. Honestly, book Matt if you want to pass your test!

I have been fortunate to learn with 2 excellent instructors with Lendrums. I started my journey with Robert Deszo-Feher. I was an older learner and very nervous however Robert always put me at ease and got me driving. After a setback Paul Reed stepped into the breach and I completed my training with him. Paul is a very experienced instructor and got me through my driving test. I learned a lot from both. It was a pleasure to learn with Robert and Paul, and I will miss my weekly natters with them.

Giving 5* review here for an excellent journey and experience with Lendrums and with my instructor Abde. Was able to pass first time as a result from focusing on key skills and following key roundabounds and manoeuvres.

I passed my test first time yesterday in Southampton, with 9 minors with Lendrums. I had Caroline as my instructor and she was amazing! I couldn’t fault her at all, she was so understanding, welcoming, supportive respectful and patient throughout the whole learning journey, I couldn’t recommend her enough as a driving instructor!
