Learn Smart Driving School

After deciding to start learning driving again in April, I approached LearnSmart to begin lessons. They were quick and managed to get me into lessons within the next week. My instructor was Craig who helped me through the past couple of months and meant that I passed my test 2nd time around. I was very pleased with the service I received and would recommend the company and Craig to any of my uni friends learning around Lincoln.

I booked an initial 2 hour lesson for my son and was advised that my lesson would be at 1045 on a Tuesday. I live fairly rural but not the back of beyond and had advised my address and contact number before confirmation was received. At 20:48 the night before I received an e-mail stating "We've had to cancel your lesson Tuesday, 7 August 2018 10:45. On finding directions it is too far at 17 miles= to and fro 34 miles. Regards*****. I never picked this e-mail up until the morning of the lesson, by which time it was too late to cancel arrangements made to accommodate the lesson. I have received no further communication from this company to re-arrange or apologise. You appear to have numerous teachers surely someone could have covered my region. I would not recommend your school and I haven't even had a lesson.

Really enjoyed my first lesson I learnt loads in two hours great instructor can't wait for my next lesson.

For anyone wanting the best instructor Steven Milligan is your guy! He's patient understanding and we had some laughs along the way! He's got me passed 1st time with only 4 minors! Highly recommend to anyone!

Steve was my instructor from December to July 2017 and was the best I could have asked for. I was apprehensive to start driving and was concerned that I wouldn't get along with any instructor. Steve however, completely eliminated those fears and helped me through all the stress and worry of 4 tests. It was evident that Steve is passionate about wanting the best for all his students as he shared my sadness after my 3 fails. I could completely count on him and trust his judgment, whether I needed to have more lessons in a week or whether I needed to control my nerves. In the end, with the help of Steve, I was able to pass my test and I owe it all to him. Highly recommend him and his company.

Instructor only seems to be in it for easy money targets, as I wanted to start doing one hour lessons because one hour is a weeks wage for me and I simply couldn’t afford two anymore, but this made the instructor blow his top to the point I had to get a new instructor due to the humiliation.

Mike is an excellent driving instructor who is extremely patient and helps to ease your nerves. He explains everything clearly with advice, tips and other resources to ensure your driving is at an excellent standard. I passed first time and couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor!

Passed first time with Craig, who was reliable, has a very good teaching style, was patient and has a very nice manner, making the learning experience comfortable and efficient. I highly recommend this service and thanks again Craig!

Brilliant teaching and guidance. Mike always gets you to improve on your last lessons. Definitely worth the full 5 stars.

Mike has been an absolutely fantastic instructor who i'd recommend to anyone. I'm a very nervous person and was surprised to find myself feeling at ease when learning; I passed my test first time. Mike uses a clear 'system for driving' which really helps to develop smooth driving and build confidence. 10/10.

Although not the cheapest, the quality of the instruction meant that I passed first time and as a result even my mum thinks I'm a safe driver.

I passed my test first time with Mike which I believed would be next to impossible! I couldn't have found a better driving instructor, would definitely recommend to anyone. I wasn't just taught how to pass a test I've been taught everything I need to do to drive safely and independently.

Couldn't ask for a more patient instructor in Mike Nunn. Everyone will obviously have shaky starts but he put my mind at ease very quickly and staggered the learning appropriately. He has all the materials and advice that you could possibly need to help you pass and is always happy to answer your questions. I couldn't recommend this driving school (and Mike personally) more!

Steven is honestly the best instructor I could have wished for. I looked forward to every lesson I had with him as he made it really easy to learn. Thanks to him I passed first time within a few months of starting lessons.

Very good service couldn't be more thankful for Mike nunn working weekends aswell. Brilliant instructor and progresses you at a good pace also.

My assessment lesson was value for money my instructor made me feel at ease and gave me confidence I'll be going back deffinately.

Passed my test third time round, although first time with Learn Smart. Steven my instructor had a tough time on his hands when I first started but he evenually made me a better driver. Thanks so much Steven.
