Passed my driving test 27/4/26 after on my third attempt, I was very nervous and had a lot of anxiety but John helped me through it. He reassured me with such confidence and told me I can do it so thank you. I will be a great driver now :).

Recently passed my driving test with Insight2Drive, and I couldn’t have done it without Robert Martin. He was an amazing instructor - patient, encouraging, and always clear in his guidance. He really helped build my confidence behind the wheel and made every lesson feel productive. Highly recommend both Insight2Drive and Robert to anyone learning to drive!

I couldn’t recommend John Tipton as a driving instructor. From the very beginning, he was really easy to get on with, which made a huge difference for me. I struggle with ADHD and can find it difficult to connect and communicate with people, but John was patient, understanding, and made me feel completely comfortable. He helped build my confidence massively throughout my lessons, always staying calm and supportive, even when I doubted myself. Thanks to his teaching, I passed first time with only four minors, which I’m really proud of. I genuinely don’t think I could have done it without him, and I wouldn’t have wanted any other instructor. If you’re looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and great at building confidence, John is the one to go with.

I have been recommending Paul to everyone I know who wants to learn to drive - I literally cannot recommend him highly enough! I was a traumatised learner who’d had a bad experience with instructors before and failed her first test with six majors. Paul was so gentle and patient, and helped me feel comfortable in the car after a break of several years. Each lesson was clearly planned and structured and he helped me keep track of my progress and gradually regain my confidence. After six months of lessons with him, I passed a test with just three minors, and am now happily and safely driving around! I would particularly recommend Paul if you are nervous or have had bad experiences with instructors in the past. He made learning to drive genuinely fun as well as organised and safe.

Karen was a great instructor. She was calm and patient. Everything was explained and taught in depth. I feel confident to hit the road!

Sara was an amazing driving instructor - patient, calm, and really clear in the way she explained everything. She helped build my confidence and made lessons feel relaxed but focused. I felt fully prepared for my test and passed first time thanks to her support. I couldn’t recommend Sara enough!

Lisa is amazing she puts you at ease makes you feel comfortable and your very own cheerleader! I have dyslexia and dyspraxia and adhd and she was amazing and we clicked straight away and understood how I need to be tought will be recommending her to everyone 10/10.

Lisa was an amazing teacher. She was incredibly helpful and very patient with me throughout my learning journey. She taught me all the techniques and information I needed in a clear and supportive way. She supported me from start to finish until I passed, and I truly had an amazing experience with her. I recently passed my driving test with 0 Faults working with Paul Downes! Paul is patient, well educated and a good laugh. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone who wants to learn how to drive!

Where do I start, I randomly thought one day to look for an instructor to teach me to drive after previously being with 2 instructors years ago, then I found john, john barrow from insight to drive has been my gods sent, he has taught me to drive with confidence taught me self belief and taught me to be the driver I am to day after failed one test I had doubt about myself but no john stuck by me help me self believe and guess what got me to pass, I can not recommend John enough hes been so calm through out my ups and downs and been so professional through out it all hes taught me so many unique ways how to drive which will stick with me like I said I cant recommend him enough.

Karen from insight2drive is the nicest, most patient and reliable instructor around I couldn’t have passed without her, wonderful lady and an absolute legend! Thanks so much.

You can't get a better instructor than Karen! She really teaches you not just to pass the test but the realities of the road and how to be a safe driver. I was so happy to pass first time at Norris Green test centre and can't thank Karen enough for helping me!

My instructor was kind and patient. She made sure I mastered each topic/ skill before moving on to the next topic.

John was a really good instructor and taught me all the skills I needed to pass my driving test with clear and easy tips and instructions.

So today I got what every PDI works so hard for. I managed to pass my part 3 and become a full ADI. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of all of the boss trainers at Insight2Drive. I’ve joined online seminars and zoom meetings with other trainers but honestly nothing comes close to the training offered at I2D. Not only are all of the trainers here top quality but the PDI’s you see at the CPD workshops each week are top class too, everyone helps each other wherever they can and people are genuinely happy to see others do well it’s a boss environment to be train in. I want to give a massive shout out to Leanne whose advice and training has helped get me over the line, even when my head has fell clean off my shoulders with nerves . If you’re a PDI and looking for somewhere that you’ll get top draw training then give Kathy a message, you won’t regret it.

I've recently passed my part 3 instructor test to become a fully qualified driving instructor. Couldn't have done it without the help from the Insight2drive team. I started my instructor journey with a big national driving school 2 years ago and felt like I was doing this journey alone with a lack of support so out of frustration I started looking elsewhere for better training and was blessed to have found Kathy and Insight2drive. Very quickly I got on board with the team and it was the best decision I made. Every Friday there is workshops available where Leanne would do training on different topics and there was someone physical to actually talk to and ask questions instead of emailing a random person who you wouldn't hear from. Super supportive team who actually cares and is there every step of the way. If you're looking to become a driving instructor with first class training then no doubt would I highly recommend Insight2drive. Thanks again to Kathy, Leanne and the Insight2drive team xx.

I have passed my driving test (on second attempt) thanks to my instructor Lisa Leung! She has been patient and I learn alot every lesson. She points out my faults every lesson for me to learn from without making me feel discouraged. I haven’t got the best spatial awareness on foot but with Lisa’s teaching I was surprised I could drive through tight spaces from my first or second lesson and I was a lot less stressed by the experience than I had expected! I would recommend Lisa as a driving instructor due to her patience and empathetic way of teaching while imparting plenty of knowledge every single lesson - I definitely learn something new every lesson, even up to the day of my test! She’s also very reliable - always on time and good with communication.
