Heaney Driving

Learning to drive with Damian was an absolute pleasure. I work pretty uneven shifts and only get my ROTA's a few weeks in advance so struggled to be able to commit to a set day/time but Damian would always text me if he had a space or a cancellation and see if I was available which I really appreciated. Damian is a great guy and instils confidence in you from just a few lessons and that is something I personally needed and felt that the confidence boost he gave me really helped me to pick things up quicker as weeks went by. I cant speak highly enough of Damian and the fact I passed first time with him with just one minor fault at Leeds Harehills test centre speaks volumes about just how good of an instructor he really is.

Brilliant instructor! As someone who wasnt the most confident person to start driving, he made me feel right at ease. One of the best decisions I ever made was choosing to do my lessons with Damian. He is friendly, chatty and doesn't make you feel under pressure at all. Very accommodating and will always arrive on time. Never had any issues and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

What a brilliant I instructor! I had struggled with driving for years and had numerous instructors but none of them could help me pass. Damian made adjustments to my driving that made it all so much easier. His laid back approach put me at ease and now I am a confident driver.

Wonderful instructor that always worked at a pace that made me feel comfortable. I was really nervous to start my lessons, and even whilst taking them there were times when I was so nervous I just wanted to give up, but Damian was so friendly and confident that he put me at ease. In the end I passed first time with few minors, and all within such a short time of starting my lessons which I didn't expect. Highly recommend.

Brilliant instructor made it all very simple and easy. Managed it all very good and did it at a good steady pace. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Made you feel comfortable and confident to pass!

Passed on my 2nd attempt with Heaney Driving, the first attempt was completely my fault for failing but he got me booked into the next test he could find and kept checking for earlier dates. I passed a few weeks later with only one minor. Fantastic driving instructor, very clear teaching and very thorough methods.

Didn't really want to write this review but seeing as hes got 5 stars I don't think thats a very good representation of his instructing skills. Firstly let me start with when I first started driving (back in November 2017) Damian has been teaching since then and I still haven't put in for my test. I Have had over 35+ lessons and Damian has rarely taught the basics such as reversing and parallel parking. Damian is a generally slow teacher and never has any free spots for anyone. He takes on too many customers and never has any room for the ones hes already got. He doesn't care about you passing your test he is more concerned about the money he is getting. I I have recently left Damian to go for someone who cares about you passing your test.

Such an excellent driving instructor! Lessons progress at a pace that makes you feel comfortable and confident while driving. He helped me pass first time, like a lot of his students. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Damian is an excellent driving instructor. I looked forward to our weekly lessons - always had a good laugh. I passed second time (after breaking his streak of quite a few passes in a row -sorry! ) I'd recommend him to anyone.

The best driving instructor I've had after having lessons at uni too. He teaches you by getting you to make your own decisions and guides patiently along the way.

Damian is a Great driving instructor alway cool and clam. He keeps you at ease with his humour. Also helped me pass first time ! Can't thank him enough. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Passed my test first time, after 9 months of lessons, thanks to Damien. Great instructor who was calm, used humour and made me feel comfortable.

Damian is a very patient, considerate and caring instructor. He made me feel comfortable and confident. I struggled with my nerves and he always reassured me. He was flexible around my work and family commitments, I would highly recommend 'Heaney Driving' to anybody. I passed 1st time in just under 5 months!

Damien is a very good, patient instructor. He made me feel very comfortable in the car and made plenty of time to make sure everything was done how it should be. Passed first time which many of his students do.

This is an honest review. Damien is a patient, kind instructor who to me he's a driving god. I wouldn't of passed without him. I would highly recommend his services to anyone as there is a 100% chance your going to pass your test. Thank you Damien.

After learning to drive and giving up when I was 17, then going with an instuctor that was very unprofessional, I was given Damian number though a work colleague. I instantly felt at ease driving with him. He made the lessons fun and informative, after the first few lesson I felt a much more confident driver. Damians teaching methods really worked for me as I have dyslexia and anxiety, he adapted his teaching methods to help me and didn't make me feel bad when I needed him to repeat things or explain things in more detail. Would definitely recommend Damian to others wanting to learn to drive if he can get me passed he can get anyone passed (:.

Damian was a great instructor and an all round great guy. He made me feel very relaxed and helped me learn everything I needed to know so I passed first time.
