Fareham U17 Driving Club

Where have these 2 years gone? ! The under-17 driving club has been super beneficial to my journey onto the road. The monthly, 2-hour sessions provide great insight into road safety and theory questions covered clearly and thoroughly by Malcom. The question sheet at the end of the theory session is great for re-consolidating key information, allowing us to go away and revise any mistakes. The second half of the session is spent one-on-one with a friendly, funny driving instructor making you feel safe and comfortable (shoutout to Gary, Sabrina, Graeme and Nick). Practising parallel parking, reverse bay, clutch control, emergency stop, and more are all skills I have learned at the club, along with the patience of the amazing instructors. All feedback is very constructive and helpful allowing you to learn from mistakes and adjust accordingly. I highly recommend it to all young people invested in starting their driving journey.

The lessons were brilliant. They have taught my son road safety, and have given him a great start to driving. My son currently drives a moped, and these lessons have really helped make him a safer rider. He can't wait to drive, and is feeling super confident about it.

I found the u17 driving coarse very intresting and fun. It is helping me in my driving lesson and theory. You did 1 hour of theory and then 1 hour of driving round crofton school doing all the different types of manuvers.

The theory aspect of the U17s Driving Club was thorough and I came away from every session with key points that will help me with my theory test. The driving instructors were also very patient and made me feel comfortable in the driving seat. Would definitely recommend this Driving Club. :-).

Malcolm has been very patient with my Son, and each time he finishes a lesson he tells me that it was very useful. Good enough to send my other son in a few years.

My son has enjoyed his time at the U17 Driving Club. Although he only had a few sessions before turning 17 he has gained a lot of confidence and has made him more eager to Learn to Drive at 17. He said that it has been enjoyable; both the theory and the practical and that everyone has been welcoming and friendly. Registering was straight forward and communication has been brilliant and the Welcome Pack at the beginning and the booklet and letter received on our last session were very helpful. We will be recommending this club to friends and family; so pleased we found the club. We hope it will still be around in 6 years time when my daughter is 15. Thank you Malcom and your team.

Friendly, reassuring driving instructors who helped with my confidence and were very patient during each lesson. Overall I found it really helpful and feel it has prepared me for both the road and my theory test as there was also a theory portion to the session which was informative and allowed you to practice questions as well.

I have learnt a lot about driving with them and would recommend it to everyone.

Very instructive drivers, the few lessons I had really helped for my driving when I started my actual lessons on the road. Would definitely recommend 100%.

Both daughters attended the u17 sessions. They loved it. Malcolm and the team are really great: patient, friendly, kind. Would highly recommend a an intro to driving. I think it saves money in the end with less actual driving lessons needed. It certainly speeds up the process of getting the kids ready for the road.

I took part in the driving club for roughly 7/8 months and it helped me to build up the confidence I needed when I got out on the road. In drivers club I learnt all the basics to get comfortable with being in control of a car in a safe environment. Not only did drivers club help with learning to drive itself but I also believe it helped a lot with preparing me for my theory test. Within drivers club theory section we would get to chose what we thought we parts we needed to work on. Overall I truly believe drivers club was a massive help with me learning how to drive and was very much worth every penny.
