Ewings Driver Training

Thank you so much, I had started learning in the middle of january and passsd my test close end of february, with only a few driving lessons jack really pushed me to make sure I was 100% ready and confident with driving, really nice car to drive which made it 10x easier.

Jack was an incredible instructor for myself, managing to get me through my car test first on my first attempt. His tuition is unfaultable. He managed to perfectly put myself under just enough pressure to not just learn everything but understand it as well and I think this is invaluable as an instructor. This meant that any mistakes I made throughout my lessons were very quickly ironed out and the whole process of learning to drive a car felt a lot quicker and smoother. Throughout my learning process, he was also incredible at keeping myself calm after me letting him know I was nervous at times. As a motorcycle rider prior to my lessons, he did an amazing job of understanding where to start with car controls and road understanding. Finally, he keeps his car very clean which I think matters a lot and you can see how much he cares about his work, just by noticing how much effort he puts into keeping the car clean and comfortable for his students. Jack is so great at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone. Jack is patient, easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. I passed first time and feel confident in my driving after learning to drive with him.

Jack is the best instructor I could have asked for! He’s patient, kind and such a good teacher. He helped me by just always knowing why I was making mistakes and how best to correct them. He was always flexible and helped with my nerves. I enjoyed every lesson. Passed my test first time after around 34 hours of lessons thanks to him! Couldn’t have wished for better .

Jack was an excellent instructor and helped me to pass first time with 2 minors. He was very flexible, even picking me up from college and work some times.

I fully recommend Jack @ Ewings driver training. I past first attempt with only 2 minors, it was especially hard for me as I came from Spain with the Spanish road laws and with only 15 hours, Jack made me fully aware of my faults and helped me loads to correct them. Jack @Ewings Driver Training has done me proud and been a great mentor. Needed to get my Class 2 in a big hurry and called him up expecting to be told my mission was impossible. To my surprise he jumped straight on it and immediately checked for dates, made a plan and guided me through the process. Always there to answer queries as they arrive and advise on the best way to proceed. Can't fault the driver training, a tailored approach to my individual needs, patient when needed and good communication throughout. We went over magic roundabout so many times! I recently just passed my class 2 hgv with Jack, Ewings. Had never driven one before, but after five days with Jack, , I can honestly say I was confident to drive it on my own. Very patient and a very nice guy. I would even go so far to say Jack, is a one time pass guarantee.

Just one 2 hour lesson with Jack and my son passed his test on his 8th attempt, Jack really made the difference and gave my son the confidence he needed, would highly recommend.

I have just spent 30 hours in a truck with Jack over the last 5 days and not only did he teach me to pass first time having not driven an HGV before, but it was also a really enjoyable experience. His knowledge is second to none, but he also has the ability to share it in however complex or simple a way necessary. He was very calm but also let nothing slide. A great guy as well as a great instructor, I highly recommend.

Jack was my instructor and what a pleasure that was. He had the ability to identify what the main weaknesses were and how to rectify them in a timely manner. After bouncing back and forth between different instructors I was glad to find these guys. If you need a instructor here in Swindon ewings is the place to be would highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Jack at Ewings Driver Training enough! Jack is a great instructor who is very clear and makes situations easy to understand. Makes you feel very comfortable and gives you all the tools and information to go into your driving test. He prepares you so well the test seems much easier than you would expect. What an amazing instructor! Right from the day I contacted Jack about obtaining my category C truck licence, to the day I passed every process has been first class. Jack explained everything in depth, was very reasonably priced and very honest about what we could achieve within the time frame of lessons. Jack was always on time, very patient, clam and made me feel at ease. Never thought at the ripe age of 44 that I would get excited about driving lessons but it was a great learning experience. Recently had the pleasure of undertaking my C1 licence training and test with Ewings. Jack's firm and fair tuition helped me work on some bad driving habits that I'd developed over the past 20 years of car driving. With his help I passed first time with only a few driver faults, something that wouldn't have happened without his mentoring.
