Evolve Driving School

There are not enough words to express my gratitude and praise towards Bryan. I started driving in rural England in 2019, just before covid, and was unable to take a test before going away to university. I lost all ability, especially my confidence behind the wheel. Fast forward to March 2026, having passed first-time, and completed lessons with Bryan – I have never felt so competent and confident driving a car. Not a lesson went by where Bryan and I did not share a laugh (or ten! ); he is an incredibly personable, down-to-earth guy. Not only did I feel safe behind the wheel, but I felt welcomed and accepted, making lessons so enjoyable, and a highlight of my week for the last 8 months. Bryan’s teaching method goes much further beyond the necessary skills to pass a test. He adapts his lessons to suit you and takes the time to know what works for you as an individual. You come out the other end with real-life driving skills, and a positive attitude to driving. Originally learning to drive on country lanes and in 30mph areas with my previous instructor, driving in Milton Keynes was incredibly daunting to me at first. Bryan’s attention to detail, patience, and infectious confidence has equipped me with the knowledge and skills that I need to be a safe, assertive, driver in all conditions. Driving on 70mph roads would have petrified me, but after learning with Bry, I am competent in any scenario, and I now have a weirdly large love for roundabouts. You learn to be in control, have great awareness of your surroundings, be prepared, and most importantly - be safe. Bryan’s car is great fun to drive – it is safe, smooth, comfortable, always sparkly clean, and equipped with the best passenger you’ll ever have. He is more than just a driving instructor, he is an empathetic, kind, and hilarious guy who radiates joy, resilience, and a passion for driving. It has been, from the bottom of my heart, such a privilege to learn to drive with Bryan. I am incredibly grateful for our hours of laughter, discussion, and of course – top-quality teaching, that I will remember each time I get behind the wheel of a car. I did not think that I would get to this point, have the confidence to drive alone, and pass first-time with such ease. The only negative is that I am now continuing my driving without the legend himself in his red Mazda!I could talk forever about what a joy it has been to be one of Bryan’s pupils. Cant say another other than Bryan is a great instructor. The way he teachers allows everything to be understood and come very naturally. Such a friendly and great guy.

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Bryan. His teaching ability is truly outstanding - he explains everything clearly, stays patient no matter how many questions I asked, and always helped me feel calm and confident behind the wheel. He has a friendly, easy-going personality with a great sense of humor which made every lesson super enjoyable and I always looked forward to the next session. I passed my driving test first time today with Bryan from Evolve Driving School, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the very first lesson, Bryan made me feel completely at ease. He’s got a great sense of humour and is really easy to get along with, but underneath all of this, he is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Each lesson was the perfect balance between being fun and focused, which made every lesson something I looked forward to. What I really liked was that Bryan doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test, he teaches you how to be a confident, safe and skilled driver for life. He explains things really clearly, and if you make a mistake, he takes the time to go over it so you actually understand what went wrong and how to fix it. His car is amazing to drive, really smooth and comfortable which made me feel confident behind the wheel. By the time my test came around, I felt completely ready, and that’s all down to Bryan’s teaching style. Bryan was an excellent instructor and was really easy to get along with, because of his great teachings I was able to pass my driving test the first time. He's really easy to talk to and you can always ask questions if your stuck, I'd definitely recommend him as an instructor. Many thanks Bryan!

I couldn’t recommend Bryan enough as a driving instructor! Thanks to Bryan, I have gone from never believing I would ever be able to drive, to passing my test first time and I cannot wait for the freedom that driving will now bring me. Bryan offers a unique, multifaceted teaching style to get the most from every student. This means if you are unable to grasp what he is saying the first time (which was very often with me), he will offer an alternative approach and explanation with the opportunity to ask questions. This ensures you fully understand what he is teaching, meaning you learn how to execute the skill but also why we execute it that way. Additionally, he really takes time to understand the individual he is teaching. For me, I have a neurodivergent brain, which means I process learning differently. At times, he was able to even understand how I was feeling and what I was thinking, without me having to explain- which I am beyond grateful for. Driving became overwhelming for me at times, and without rushing, Bryan took lessons at my own pace and pushed me out of my comfort zone only when I was ready. Bryan is a fun, great instructor and tough when it is necessary, to shape you into the best and most confident driver. If I can learn to drive, then so can everybody! Bryan has been a fantastic instructor. I was a really nervous driver but Bryan was always able to put me at ease with his great sense of humour which made the lessons a lot more enjoyable. He not only teaches you what to do but also how to think for yourself and adapt to any situation while driving. I was given all the preparation that I needed for the test which allowed me to pass first-time. Thank you Bryan!

I had my driving lessons with Bryan and I couldn't reccommend a better person to teach you to drive. He ensured I learnt every topic to a great standard and was a great person to get along with. I had issues with one handed steering for a long time during my driving lessons and Byran made me do figures of 8 in a car park until I perfected my steering technique. Overall, Bryan is not only a great instructor but he is someone who genuinely cares about improving your driving skills and ensuring you can actually drive, not just pass the test.

Bryan helped me pass with only 3 minors! I was unsure at first if I could make it but I put my trust in Bryan and he made it happen like he said. IF your going as I’m 17 would recommend he buildt me up day by day and puts you through hard tests so the actually driving test felt easy.

Brian was a great instructor with an amazing sense of humor that allowed me to improve my driving whilst also having a laugh.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the driving lessons I took with Brian, he is an instructor who combines understanding, confidence and a great sense of humour to create a comfortable environment when you're learning to drive. I would strongly recommend Brian as his effective teaching methods helped me feel prepared for my test and I am grateful for what he has taught me going forward as a driver.

Bryan is an amazing instructor, who made driving fun. I used to dread lessons with my old instructor but I’m so glad I changed and chose Evolve. Bryan has an amazing teaching style and adapts accordingly to how you learn. Knowing that I had an instructor who has my back and was confident that I can drive; led me to finally pass! Bryan was incredible the entire time I was with him, he helped me overcome the nerves and managed to teach me a lot, I highly recommend others to use him aswell.

Bryan is an absolutely fantastic driving instructor. I cannot recommend him enough. He makes sure you are more than ready for your driving test, builds your confidence and teaches you how to drive in a fun and relaxed way, whilst packing each lesson full of content. He tailors each lesson to the needs of the student, going at a pace that is right for you, (he is brilliant with nervous learners). He genuinely cares about getting you not only ready to pass first time, but to make sure you are a safe and skilful driver. He instils humour into the lessons and is great at getting you confident at the skills you find most difficult. Fantastic value for money, and a great time while you are learning.

In my mid-twenties I thought that driving just wasn’t for me as I felt it would be too challenging and it gave me a lot of anxiety. After, a little bit, of reading reviews on the website I felt if anyone would get me to drive it would be Bryan. I was right! Passed first time this week, with only Bryans lessons as I hadn’t got a car for private practice. Bryans style and approach worked perfectly for me, it got me out of my head and taught me how to be a safe driver. It’s opened up a world of opportunities for my career now and I can’t thank Bryan enough.

I passed my test first time with Bryan and I couldn’t thank him enough. Starting driving I was so anxious and nervous but Bryan was always able to calm me down and guide me to do the best I could. With me I always dwelled on what I did wrong but Bryan always made me feel at ease and helped me through this. If I got taught something and it just wasn’t working for me Bryan always had another technique to throw at me to try until I found what worked for me. It was the best experience being taught by Bryan ! I’m going to miss our lessons full of laughter and jokes.

Passed with only 4 minors and I honestly couldn't have done it without this school. Bryan is one of the best instructors out there, making sure everything is covered and that I was the best driver I could be! Very motivational, switched on, patient as well as friendly. Could always have a good laugh whilst cracking down on topics and filling any knowledge gaps, creating a really good learning environment where you feel relaxed, to then get taught everything to an amazing standard, preparing you well for your test! If you need an instructor this is your guy ? .

I can’t recommend Evolve Driving School enough. Bryan is a fantastic driving instructor. The confidence he has in his ability to teach is infectious, which makes you feel confident behind the wheel. Bryan doesn’t just teach you to pass a test, but gives you the skills and tools to be a successful driver for life. His fun, banter-ful personality and driving approach made me enjoy learning and created a sense of ease. However to balance that, his guidance was direct and authoritative in lessons when he needed to be - I personally prefer this in an instructor because it fills me with confidence and makes me assertive when driving. He is patient, thorough with explanations, and his quality of wisdom is superb. He also understands that time is money; he was never late, and never wasted time in lessons! Bryan has been an incredible driving instructor! He not only got me to the point where I could pass my driving test, but he made sure I became a confident driver. He was really flexible with lesson times to suit my changeable working hours and made sure to make time for extra lessons close to the date of my test. Bryan’s teaching and advice gave me absolutely everything I needed in order to pass my driving test first time, showing great patience and experience throughout the lessons I took and in the pre-test pep talk.
