Drive with Nik

Nik is a fantastic instructor - very patient and supportive. He teaches in a very common sense and straightforward way, which is especially good if you're an adult learner or if you are nervous about any aspects of driving. As well as being a superb teacher of practical skills, he also has a lot of local knowledge about the areas you learn in, including test routes, which makes a huge difference to building confidence for your test.

Nik is a dedicated teacher who really goes all out to ensure you are well prepared for the driving test. He was incredibly patient with me and took time to help me calm down when I was nervous before the driving test. He also prepared me well in advance with plenty of mock tests, test questions and also driving through potential test routes. He is a very composed, committed instructor who was instrumental in making me pass in the first go. I thoroughly enjoyed my learning lessons with Nik and would highly recommend him to anyone starting their driving journey. .

I had a fantastic experience with my driving instructor! He is extremely responsible, always in a good mood, and has endless patience. He explains everything with plenty of examples, making even the hardest concepts easy to understand. Plus, he can teach in both English and Spanish, which made things even more comfortable for me. I highly recommend him!

Nik is an excellent instructor. He has a calm vibe combined with an extremely methodological and detailed approach. He knows when to help a student relax while driving and when to push them towards perfection. I was nervous about learning to drive, but ten minutes into my first class I knew I had made the right decision to use Nik. He takes his time and shows you every maneuver on an app on his iPad before executing it with you which helps a lot. He can also show you footage from front and back cameras on his laptop to illustrate mistakes you have made (eg lane changes etc) which really does help also. I passed first time with just 3 minors. Highly recommended!

Everyone should learn to drive with Nik. I was terrified to drive - my anxiety had put me off learning for years - and Nik taught me so well, and was so patient and understanding with me, that I passed FIRST TIME after just 19 lessons. Nik has an encyclopaedic knowledge of UK roads and laws. He tailors every lesson to help you (for example, I wanted to learn about both city and country roads - and he made it possible! ), and his kindness, experience, and use of tech (instructional videos, interactive driving software, and live camera feeds of your lessons) makes it easy to understand and learn. I am so grateful to Nik. I know I have been taught by the best. If you get the chance to learn from Nik…take it!

I started my very first driving lesson in the UK with Nik, he was very calm, taught me everything with all the details and the reasoning, which helped me to understand and digest all the rules and adapt to them quickly. He has an iPad where he shows my mistakes, possible scenarios and how I can improve my driving, that has been extremely helpful. Also I was pregnant during the lessons and the test, but I didn't get nervous at all thanks to his guidance. He booked my test because he could find an earlier one than I did, and only in four classes and with his amazing instructions, I passed the very first test I took, with ZERO mistakes! He is an amazing instructor and I highly recommend him.

I can't thank or recommend Nik enough for his time with me. I had been putting off learning to drive for about 15 years and was very nervous during my first lesson but fast forward a few months and I've just passed first time with only 3 driving faults! Nik instantly put me at ease in our first lesson and proved in those first 2 hours and all the subsequent lessons after that what an amazing teacher he is. He uses various teaching and learning strategies (including various apps on his iPad) which help build your knowledge and confidence so quickly. He is also so patient and calm which creates the perfect environment to learn in. Nik was fantastic at setting a great pace meaning I never felt rushed and we only moved on when I had mastered each skill. One of the things I found particularly helpful was all of the mock tests in the lead up to the test. It meant I felt super prepared on the day and knew exactly what to expect. Both a wonderful teacher and person, I feel so lucky to have learnt to drive with Nik and I feel his personalised approach has set me up to be a very confident driver going forward. Nik was a great teacher, I managed to pass my first practical exam with only 1 minor fault. He was very knowledgeable and had access to useful learbing technology on his ipad as well as recordings for playback.

Nik is a truly excellent driving instructor. I was very nervous about learning to drive but Nik is such a calm and reassuring presence that it really helps put you at ease. He explains everything in such a clear manner and he is calm and patient when mistakes are made. Our lessons progressed at a very comfortable pace where I was constantly challenged by new things but never felt overwhelmed. It was really the ideal way to build up confidence in my driving. He clearly tailors his lessons to his students and is extraordinarily attentive about the ways in which you can improve and specific areas you should focus on. I also appreciated his organised and systematic approach to learning to drive, which made great use of technology to illustrate how things like junctions work and emails to keep track of your progress. If you are looking for a great driving instructor, I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had.

I would definitely recommend Nik to anyone who wants to succeed in their driving test. He has been patient with me, from ZERO experience to having confidence in automatic driving on different roads. I passed on my first attempt! He also does manual btw. I especially like that he gives me progress updates after each lesson. Thumbs up!

Nick is a great instructor overall. If you are not sure or you have doubts I hope I help clearing these below:Nick is profesional, organised, chilled and knows how to adapt or listen to what you need in order to work out those specific things you may not feel confident to make sure you get them right. I’ve been moving a lot in the last years, been driving with many different instructors and I can say Nick was one of the best when it comes to instruct, make sure you know the area so you are prepared, and also when it comes to organising his schedule for the driving lessons he is very straight forward and transparent with no fuss or sudden changes and never late.
