About Carnbroe School of Motoring
First established in 2003, Carnbroe School of Motoring is now one of the most popular driving schools in Lanarkshire. Renowned for their professionalism and expertise, they have successfully provided first class, affordable tuition to over 600 pupils from within the Coatbridge and Airdrie areas, gaining an excellent word of mouth reputation and a highly enviable pass rate, in the process.
CSM offers individually tailored instruction to drivers of all ability; whether a novice on a 1st lesson or a qualified driver on a refresher course. Their aim is to deliver a highly professional, yet relaxing and enjoyable, experience to all. To help them achieve this, CSM use dual controlled, air-conditioned cars, which are upgraded and renewed each year, so clients can be assured of a safe, reliable and comfortable drive. A 'flexible diary' system (ideal for clients on shift-work) means lessons won't necessarily have to be missed when the unexpected happens. Alternative appointments can usually be arranged enabling pupils to continue to develop their driving skills at a steady pace.
In preparing pupils for their practical driving test, Carnbroe School of Motoring also offers comprehensive instruction on the Theory and Hazard Perception test as well as the Safety Question section of the practical test.
Once qualified, pupils can then go on to take the highly recommended Pass Plus course, an excellent way of taking their new skills a stage further, with the added incentive of discounts on insurance premiums.
CSM are proud of their reputation and the fact that many past 'pupils' are now 'friends', having kept in touch after passing. But with the DSA's motto, 'Safe Driving for Life' in mind, they encourage and invite all pupils, past and present, to get in touch at any time, if ever they need help or advice on any aspect of driving.
The company is owned and operated by Charlie Sweeney, a fully qualified, Grade 5 DVSA ADI.
Charlie brings 35 years of experience in the driving industry to his lessons, resulting in pupils often recommending him to others for, amongst other things: his clear and concise, easy to understand lessons; his unquestionable professionalism; and last but not least, his indefatigable patience.
