Amazing time learning with Andy, managed to pass first time with only one minor mark, would absolutely recommend.

Had a great experience with Andy with passing my driving test first time (only 3 minors! ) after learning from scratch. Andy has been very patient with me throughout the process and I never felt uncomfortable or that I was causing annoyance when making mistakes. Andy kept up good communication between lessons and made efforts to fulfil lessons even in adverse weather or bad traffic. He has been professional throughout and I would recommend his tuition to anyone.

Andy is a super calm guy, really helps when in a stressful situation. Very flexible and super understanding. Should also mention the car he’s got is super nice and easy to drive, has auto parking which completely erases the issue of hill starts. Would highly recommend him if you want to pass.

Andy is a great instructor. Very patient, calm and respectful, explains things clearly, and provides very well rounded lessons covering all the key areas. His prices are also very reasonable by Sheffield standards. I had narrowly failed a test with my previous instructor. Andy helped me identify the aspects of my driving which needed work and in about 20 hours of lessons I quickly improved some key areas that I felt hadn't clicked for me with my previous instructor. Andy not only helped me pass my test with only 3 minors but made me a better and more confident driver. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend Andy as a driving instructor, picked up a couple lessons with him just before my test, as my previous instructor could not continue lessons, and found it to be very helpful. He’s really knowledgeable and a great teacher but also put in a lot of effort to make sure I had all the right information before my test despite only being my instructor for a short time.

Switched to Andy two weeks before my test and made me feel really comfortable from the start. A lovely guy, had a few blocks of lessons and a couple of mock tests. Passed with only a few minor faults in which I’m really happy with! Thoroughly recommend! :-).

I have been with different driving schools and struggled with learning to drive before. But Andy's calm nature made this time a breeze. I Would 100% recommend BLT.

I started learning with Andy when I was 17 before the pandemic. Even after having to take a break of driving lessons due to Covid Andy helped me pick up from where we left off and helped me build my skills and confidence driving. Andy is really patient, kind and reassuring and is a fantastic instructor!

I’ve been learning how to drive on and off for 12 years now, and after 3 different instructors and many failed tests I had very nearly given up on hoping to pass my test at all. It had become a running joke in my family that it would never happen for me and I had resigned myself to simply being too nervous to pass my test. However, that all changed when I met Andy - he instantly put me at ease with his calm, patient teaching style and taught me to look at driving from a different perspective. Instead of rushing around, he taught me to plan ahead and anticipate what would happen on the road with plenty of time, which kept me focused and calm and I started to look forward to lessons and feel confident driving again. He is a genuinely friendly, approachable guy who still manages to be be professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of driving. Rates are incredibly reasonable at £35p/h and Andy always went out of his way to accommodate my not so flexible schedule. I took my test this week and managed to pass first time with him as my instructor, something I never expected to happen to me! If he can get me to pass, believe me he can do it with anybody. Would highly recommend to anyone, 5/5 stars!
