Alan's Driving School

Alan is the most amazing amazing driving instructor, I switched from another driving instructor in May and I passed with Alan in September. His passion and love for his job is so obvious. I had picked up bad habits and Alan soon snapped me out of them. Thank you again Alan, I will miss you!

Alan is an amazing instructor! It took me a while to build up my confidence when I first started with Alan, but his patience helped so much. Im 31 and passed my test first time with the help of Alan teaching me. I've had two previous driving instructors and never felt confident enough to take my test. I found Ålan to be quite strict, direct and encouraging with he's teaching. He helped me identify where I was going wrong with my driving and taught me to be a better driver and gave me the confidence to go for my test and pass. I would recommend Alan as a driving instructor, he doesn't just teach you to pass the test he teaches you to be a good, confident driver.

Alan was a great instructor! He always takes into consideration your individual limits and tailors your lessons towards them. Never felt pressured at all and I left every lesson feeling like I made great progress. Never short of a chat! I passed first time with two minors and couldn't be happier!

Alan is a very good teacher, who is patient, encouraging and has a good sense of humour. You learn the basics very quickly and he makes you feel very comfortable in the car. I really enjoyed learning to drive with Alan.

From a parents prospective he is great at keeping you informed of how lessons are going in a very honest but positive way. I could not have asked for a better driving instructor. I fell pregnant whilst I learned to drive. I worried so much that I lost a lot of confidence in my abilities. Alan was so supportive, encouraging and understanding. He also has an awesome sense of humour! As I became more pregnant he adapted the lessons to suit me. He let me take breaks, so I could get out the car and stretch my legs and bump! I passed my driving test first time and just in time! I could not have done it without Alan.

Great instructor, I was very unconfident after learning with a previous instructor, Alan built my confidence and allowed me to learn at my own pace with his relaxed teaching style. I was a nervous wreck on the day of my test and he managed to calm me down and I passed first time which I could not believe after being so nervous. I had one other driving instructor before being taught by Alan, I wish I would have found him first. I was very nervous and not confident at all when I first started but with Alans help I became so much more confident. He is reliable, makes you feel at ease and we always had a laugh. I'm 17 years old and have just past my driving test first time. This was made possible by Alan he put me at ease the moment I set foot in his car. He is very friendly and professional and I couldn't have picked a better instructor I would recommend him to anyone.

Alan made learning to drive a really enjoyable experience. He never just had one way of teaching me, he always had a variety of teaching methods which meant I always understood what it was I was doing. He was always very patient and attentive and he always encouraged me and made me feel confident behind the wheel. He is a wonderful teacher and I would highly recommend him.
