Booked Adeil Khan through this company. He rang and gave me a day and time and text me his bank details for a payment of £68. I paid on that day and told him I would pay it as soon as I got home. I was in hospital with my Mum. I kept my agreement and promise. He then rang me the next day and said he gave the slot to someone else and it is first come first served. Totally dishonest, unprofessional and no honour or self respect. If he can do this on the very first lesson it just showed me he could not be relied upon or trusted. I hope I am refunded as quickly as I sent him the payment as he demanded.Moreexpand_more
Rodger is a amazing driving instructor and a great person. He helped me pass my first test with less than 20 lessons at a good level. He’s a very easy guy to get along with making the lessons enjoyable and different every time. I’m very thankful for his work and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to pass there test first time.
Tony was a great instructor - takes the time to show you everything and thinks about the learner individually, not just 'ticking off' what you'll be tested on. Great bloke, he's to thank for only getting one minor on my test and passing first time!
A big thank you to Kev for helping me pass my driving test. Loved every driving lesson with Kev he’s got so much patients always there to help with my worries about driving and made me feel comfortable from the first day I had my driving lesson. Always reliable I 100% recommend Kev I’ll miss my driving lessons and the laugh and chats we had Kev your the best.
The law does not obligate you how many hours you have to take before you go to the driving test, because they know that there are different levels of drivers but this "driving school" and his "instructors" are above the law. What they do? If you want to take only 5 or 6 hours of driving and go to the test because you're not a new driver they tell you No because the instructor recommends you at least 15 hours and it is pure coincidence that with 15 hours he will earn more money and the word recomment or suggesting (I believe that means that anyone can recommend or suggesting you but the last decision is yours right. ) If I go to the test and I am not 100% ready I'm going to suspend the test and I'm going to lose money. Then where is the problem? About the words 'recomment or suggesting' I'm sure they use different dictionary which means obliged.
Many apologies it's taken me a week to write this, you said I'd forget Barry and I did! Over the past few months I've had an amazing time learning to drive from Barry Bell-Young. I felt safe and secure at all times, and through Barry's learning techniques even became confident. He was extremely reliable and punctual, and didn't seem to mind if I rearranged lessons! He range of learning techniques was incredible, from apps on an iPad, to visual demonstrations to letting me practice it 5 times! I would particularly like to mention his exceptional preparation for the practical exam. I went in familiar with many of the test routes, extremely confident with my maneuvers, and aware of potential trip-ups. Barry let me decide what we did on the last lessons, so I was completely confident in all aspects of my driving going into my test. He even helped calm my nerves which I didn't think was possible! So thank-you Barry!Moreexpand_more
My instructor (Brian Johnston) was always on time for me and never cancelled any of my lessons, he always made time for me when I asked for a lesson. Help was offered at anytime even outside of lessons via text. Brian's thorough and encouraging lessons helped me to stay calm and confident on my test allowing me to pass first time which felt amazing! Thanks again Brian, it was a fun and confidence-boosting experience learning with you.
I had an excellent experience with F1 Driving School. My instructor was really friendly and patient and managed to really boost my confidence on the road. Thank you very much to F1 and my instructor for being so supporting and helping me pass.
I have been really pleased with my experience of F1 and my instructor Geoff Crowe. I'd had about 20 lessons before with another school when I was 18 but life got in the way and I never got as far as taking my test. Picking it up where I left off 6 years later I now have the confidence and freedom I've been missing out on. I'd recommend F1 to anyone looking to pass their test.
