Premium Membership now even better value

Dear FreeIndex Members
FreeIndex Premium Membership has just got even better. As of today, we are giving away 500 Sponsored Advertising credits to all FreeIndex Premium Members each and every month. Sponsored Ad Credits allow you put an advert (separate from your listing) at the top of category pages or in other "top slot" places around the site. Every month you are a Premium Member, we will give you 500 more credits worth ?5. Your credits are used each time your ad is displayed.
Creating a sponsored Ad is dead easy and our system allows you to target exactly which pages you want to display your ad on. E.g. If you want to target Plumbing in Sheffield, you can and your Ad will only be displayed on these relevant pages. Our system also automatically detects repeat and non human views, so your credits are not wasted by bots, web spiders or somebody re-visiting the same page lots of times.
The new Ad credits are just one of the many benefits of the
FreeIndex Premium package which only costs ?9.95 per month and is fantastic value advertising for small and growing businesses. Premium Members get a much higher chance of receiving lead alerts, an enhanced highlighted listing, no ads on their profile page as well as many other benefits.
We hope that this added feature brings you more business and makes your Premium membership experience even better.
Best Regards
The FreeIndex Team

I have to say that I do get leads from FreeIndex and my FreeIndex testimonials have been an excellent way of gaining credibility. I'm a Premium Member but it also worked for me before I upgraded. I haven't tried the sponsored ads yet, largely because I don't need to advertise for work. So it will be interesting to see how I get on. On a separate note, I've always found the FreeIndex support team extremely helpful and supportive. FreeIndex is by far the best directory I've used.
I am considering using this service, I have a free listing for my mobile stage hire, and festival stage hire business. Our business supplies stages, PA hire, and generator hire to small and medium sized festivals. I am unsure whether to promote www.xstagehire.co.uk with the paid option as the free listing already highlights the stage hire and festival hire solutions that we offer
I would be interested to hear from other photographers how good is this directory.
Hi
That is the question that I keep asking myself, I have a FREE listing and I have had one job from it, so perhaps it is, but again, I keep submitting a response and never get a reply. AS I said I have a FREE listing so I don't have any means of contacting the advertiser. I have now got a 5 star lising and I will see if that make a difference.
Hello all!! New to free index, is it worth a while being on here if you are running a web based business. Looking forward to hear your thoughts.
Free Index is the BEST 5 STAR thankyou i get loads of work from here.
No benefit at all because one of my competitor is on same street he have only 11 reviews and almost only 2 FIVE Star and rest all 1 Stars and 2 Stars and he free member of freeindex.co.uk but when i was search on google wedding stationer in birmingham the free member of freeindex.co.uk comes on first page of google with the link of freeindex.co.uk and i have 19 reviews 17 Five Star and 2 Four Star and I am a paid member of freeindex.co.uk but no benefit like free members
Your not being asked to pay for anything you don't want too, I have made thousands using freeindex and to this day is one of my best cross marketing tools.
Before dissing the service you may want to fully understand it.
Freeindex is great
I'm with you David. a premium account alone means nothing however a premium account and all the tools that come with it that is used properly is priceless. I have got lots of work out of freeindex. The premium extras have all helped get that work in one way or another.
And now we have 500 free credits each month! For the price of premium (assuming companies do what they should do and actually pay tax..) it is a completely tax deductible expense anyway so there is no risk or theoretically any cost involved anyway.
Hi Duncan.
My own take on it is that I was getting brilliant service and product for "free" for a many of years. I started paying for the premium service for absolutely no other reason than I thought £100 a year was a tiny amount to pay for an incredibly effective tool. Tru$t pilot charge more that as a starting cost per month.
The support given by the FreeIndex team is excellent and the very annoying server crash last year(?) highlights the fact that you absolutely MUST run a site like FreeIndex on a reliable commercial server that needs paying for.
No-one has to pay anything if they don't want to. If something is of value stumping up a few quid a month voluntarily keeps the whole system up and running. Having an actual web-site and using the FreeIndex widget on the pages inspire instant confidence for the casual viewer.
I've just done a search for "painters and decorators glasgow" and you're no-where to be seen not on any page at all.
If you don't do anything else, at least get a g-mail account and set up a google places business page,
You can't blame freeindex for not giving leads when you have zero web presence.
Just a thought.
Cheers - Pete
