I have ADHD and this lovely man sorted me right out. We sat down in my kitchen and went through a mock theory test whilst he stopped me on anything I was doing wrong, his corrections and notes was exactly what I needed to steer me in the right direction. Couldn't recommend more if you struggle with doing study work alone!

Had a great experience learning to drive with Matt, cannot recommend him enough. From the very beginning he made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. His clear and concise instructions with real world examples helped me understand what to expect on the road and build my confidence as a driver. Many thanks Matt!

I couldn’t recommend Claire highly enough! I passed first time, and I genuinely don’t think I could have asked for a better driving instructor. Claire was incredibly friendly, patient and flexible with lesson times, always doing her best to work around my schedule. She made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and by the time my test came around, I felt like a really competent and prepared driver. I also have quite severe anxiety around driving, which was a big concern for me when I started learning. Claire was absolutely brilliant with this - incredibly understanding and accommodating, adapting lessons, routes and situations where needed to make sure I always felt safe and secure. She helped me build my confidence gradually without ever making me feel pressured or overwhelmed, and I was able to get through the whole process without having any panic attacks. Claire is an amazing instructor and a genuinely lovely person. I’d recommend her to absolutely anyone learning to drive, but particularly anyone who struggles with driving anxiety. I had been having lessons with another instructor elsewhere on and off for the past few years but starting a family and moving meant I had to find someone else, and I am so pleased to have found Gemma. I recently passed my tests and I honestly couldn’t recommend Gemma enough! She went above and beyond for me and was always so patient, caring and kind. She believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, and her encouragement gave me so much confidence. We always had a laugh together, which made every lesson enjoyable and something I looked forward to. I have ADHD and Gemma was always able to switch up things and break things down in a way I could understand. I’m so grateful for all her support and patience, I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor.

Had Suzanne since October and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Her style of teaching is very easy to understand and she’ll always make sure you’re comfortable in a specific area of driving before going to the next, and on top of that shes also a very kind and relatable person.

After not being behind a wheel for 8 years I was very nervous and Gemma was instantly calming and friendly. She has been a really great instructor and has helped me pass my test first time so I think that speaks for itself!

My Driving instructor was Gemma I started driving lessons in September 2025 I passed my theory in Feb 2 time And passed my practical test 1 time on the 20 July 2926 with 3 minors Gemma was constantly friendly helpful and supportive throughout this process and I will always be grateful for her support Cannot recommend her enough as a driving instructor.

Suzanne was an excellent instructor. She helped me feel confident and in control of the vehicle very fast, and helped me pass my test on the first attempt! I couldn’t recommend Round the Bend enough!

Clare lepore took me from absolute beginner to passing my test. Absolutely brilliant driving instructor with all the qualities any learner will cherish. Gemma Ryder was a superb instructor, she was very informative and knowledgeable, so easy to talk too. She was extremely helpful and was really adaptable with timings and pick up locations. She was really helpful on the run up to my test and I passed first time with only one minor, all thanks to her within 3 months. I couldn’t have done it without Gemma, she is the nicest instructor you could have had. I felt comfortable and she put me at ease when I was nervous. 100% recommend! If you are looking to learn to drive definitely learn with Gemma .
