Maura's School of Motoring

Well what can I say? Maura is absolutely amazing. For me she was instructor number 5, I think. My nerves were shattered every time I got in the car and Maura was absolutely amazing every step of the way. She is very patient and calming and uses a planned teaching method, which I never had with any other Instructor. Her teaching method works wonders and helps build confidence along the way. She ensures she has time for each of her pupils and gives us everything we need to prepare for our tests, Including on the morning of the test. I am very lucky to have found Maura when I did, as I was very close to giving up on my driving. I passed today, first time and it's all thanks to Maura. She has come a friend of mine and I will miss my lessons and our chats. I would most definitely recommend Maura to anyone who is keen to get on the road, she's amazing and she will most definitely get you there. Thanks again Maura .Moreexpand_more

I have recently passed my driving test with Maura. I have known Maura years and I couldn’t think of anyone else better to teach anyone to drive! She was extremely professional, taught in a clear manner all while making sure you were at ease. I was quite anxious but Maura made sure that I was comfortable and supported me the entire way through until after my test. She regained my confidence by encouraging me to do my best at different test routes and Manoeuvres. I would definitely recommend Maura for a driving instructor as she also goes out of her way just to ensure you have daily lessons when needed! Thanks so much Maura.

Maura is really experienced instructor so she is able to adjust her teaching style to suit the pupil. She also has a lot of useful tips and tricks to help with manoeuvres or difficult road layouts. She is extremely knowledgeable as well as patient and kind. When I first started learning with Maura I was a super anxious driver and easily panicked but now I feel confident and relaxed when I'm driving. I really can't recommend Maura enough - she's brilliant.

Just recently passed first time with only 2 minors. I had been driving with Maura for over a year as I was a very anxious driver but Maura always made me feel more comfortable and relaxed. She is very professional and will be patient with you if you're more anxious as well as that will explain maneuveres very thoroughly. She will happily help if you're confused about any road signs, testing or highway code. I'm very happy to have passed but very sad to not see Maura anymore. Thanks :).

Recently passed my test first time with Maura and I have to say I couldn’t have did it without her. I previously had a different instructor, and im so glad I changed to Maura, after picking up bad habits from the previous instructor, Maura showed me how to do everything correctly and why its done in detail. My nerves with driving used to be terrible but ever since learning with Maura she had made driving an enjoyable experience. Maura has the most patience anyone could ask for and I definitely miss my weekly lessons with her and the laughs that we had together. Honestly I couldnt have passed my test without her and I strongly STRONGLY recommend her to anyone who is wanting to learn.

After just recently passing my test I don’t think I could recommend maura enough. She was very patient with me throughout my lessons and built up my confidence during that time. Maura helped with my confidence on the road, driving round belfast and gave me all the support I needed coming up to my test and even after i’d passed.

Just recently passed my test with Maura and I cannot recommend her enough. As a very nervous driver Maura was patient and encouraging every lesson and with her amazing help and never ending support I finally passed. Maura is friendly and calming. I would say we've became friends after teaching me and miss our chats already. I now have the independence of driving and I'm grateful for Maura persuading me to keep going until I passed! Just passed my test which I couldn’t have done without the help maura, great to talk to and she helps you feel very comfortable and calm during what can be very stressful times learning to drive, great teacher and amazing driver, would recommend her to anyone that asks me in future.

Maura is an excellent driving instructor and I can’t recommend her enough. I was put off driving for a few years but once I started with Maura she made me feel at ease from my very first lesson. I had a busy schedule with teaching and another part time job but Maura was amazing fitting me in for lessons to suit my schedule. When it came to me, Maura had the patience of a saint and thanks to her I passed my driving test first time with only 1 minor. She’s a great driving instructor and if you decide to take lessons with her you’ll not be disappointed.

Maura is a very thorough teacher, and great at taking you through general driving and manoeuvres at whatever speed is right for you, I passed first try, and felt that Maura did a good job preparing me for all parts of the driving test.

I passed my test today with Maura with only 5 minors and I am delighted. The most professional and genuine instructor i’ve ever heard of. All lessons are to the upmost efficiency, I was extremely nervous at the start and so was taken at a pace which suited me the best and made me comfotable. The detail provided in the lessons helped me to learn very quickly and acclimate to driving. I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Maura, Thank you very much!
