John is an amazing instructor, passed first time with him, so helpful and finds different ways to help you learn and pushes you where you need highly recommend :).

John is a calm instructor , who was always on time, and made me feel at ease as I was very nervous. Passed first time! Thank you John, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.

Having developed a bit of a fear of driving on the motorway, I booked a motorway driving course with John. The lessons were really useful, and John did a fantastic job of building both my knowledge and confidence. I would highly recommend John and The Yorkshire School of Motoring to anyone thinking of undertaking some lessons.

John is the 4th Instructure I have had over the course of 2 years and by far the best. Driving didn’t come easy to me and John managed to show me really straight forward ways to do manoeuvres and improve my driving. I study away from Beverley and John would always find availability and fit me in for lessons even if I asked without much notice. John is kind, helpful and a brilliant driving Instructure I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to start lessons.

John is an excellent instructor who has taught all 3 of my sons, in a calm and patient manner. I would highly recommend.

I had lessons with John for 6/7 months and throughout that time he was always organised, punctual and provided a good service. I always felt at ease driving with him and when it came to taking my test I felt ready and prepared, thanks to John. Would highly recommend.

Great driving instructor, made me more confident on the road and safety of the other road users. I am so happy that I've passed my test today. My confidence level was zero in roundabout approaches but after taking lessons with him, I was more confident and learned a lot from him.

John is easy to get along with and makes you comfortable in the car. He has a lot of patience for when you are first starting and telly you when you make slight mistakes, which really help your overall driving ability! Cheers John :D.

John is a brilliant driving instructor! He is really good at cheering you up and making you gain confidence after stalling at a roundabout or messing up your bay park. Unlike other driving instructions, he encouraged me to book my driving test as soon as I was ready, not taking my money for as long as possible like others, saying if I failed just think of it as a mock test which made me feel so much more calm about the whole experience. Learning to drive was a fantastic experiance, it was something I thought I would never do. I was recommended to use Yorkshire school of motoring by a friend and it was obvious why, I got a great deal as I paid in bulk for 10 hours per time and got a great rate, the car I learnt to drive in was comphy and easy to get used to. I would like to say a huge thank you to John for his patients and support and giving me confidence in my abilitys. I booked my crash course over the internet and everything was sorted with no problems, i then went on to pass my driving test after only 1 weeks driving. Passed with only one minor thanks to excellent advise form John Green my instructor. Thanks John. Leanne.

(Passed 1. 04. 11) I highly recommend John as a driving instructor. Patient and calm throughout, he has enabled me to build my confidence on the road and pass my driving test first time (with only one minor fault). He uses comprehensive examples and goes through everything thoroughly so you know exactly how the test will be structured. He tailors the teaching to you and is flexible with hours. Just leaving a review for my old driving instructor jon green, should have done this some time ago. When i started my driving lessons with jon i had no experience on the road at all. To add to this i was never the most practical of people. Jon was very polite and patient, and never once lost his temper with me. Even when i curbed his car. The techniques and training methods that jon brought to the lessons worked very well for me. He had ways of testing your ability without you even realising it. After 24 hours of driving lessons, jon had succesfully trained me to test standard. So well in fact, that i passed the first time with only two minors. Thanks again jon.Moreexpand_more

My instructor John from the Yorkshire School of Motoring was recommended to me by three of my friends who all passed with him, and I have recommended him to another friend of mine who has started lessons with him. He is very easy to talk to which makes lessons enjoyable, extremely flexible with his schedule and offers to help with theory studying too. The optional DVDs and study material that the company offers are excellent and easy to follow.
