With the age of 50 fast approaching and my body getting less flexible I thought I should do something about it. I had dabbled in Yoga in the past, the 'odd' class here and there, but never consistently. I met Vicki and immediately felt at ease with her, on explaining what she did I thought now was the time to take the leap and allow my body to be a little more flexible again. I joined Vicki for her 4 week beginner session, and whilst apprehensive about what I would look like trying to get into all the different positions, Vicki explained that she would take us through step by step and she really did. Not once did I feel uncomfortable, only more determined to work hard because of the time Vicki was taking to explain everything and guide us. After the first week of 2 sessions I felt different in terms of my movement and less achy, after 4 weeks I felt much more flexible and really surprised at the results. Working with Vicki and the rest of the group online was great, I didn't need to travel anywhere, but still received the 1-1 attention when it was needed within the class. I can not recommend Vicki highly enough, she was so encouraging and supportive and my first proper introduction to Yoga was so enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you Vicki. C x.
I've never done Yoga before and when I met Vicki, I was hooked on the idea. I started with her Yoga Beginners Course and loved every minute of it. I didn't miss one session. She really explained everything and assured me the whole time that the poses will become easier with practice. So I kept going! I love how patient Vicki is and she's got this amazing calm sense that makes every session enjoyable and fun. You don't even realise the proper workout you're getting. So much so, that after completing the Beginners Course I signed up to do Yoga with Vicki twice per week. I would highly recommend YogaWithVickiB to anybody.
I signed up to Vicki's Yoga for Beginners and was slightly nervous to start with. I had done pregnancy yoga some 15 years ago so really was starting from zero! Well, what can I say. Vicki instantly puts you at ease. The group was small and there was plenty of individual attention. Vicki's teaching style is warm and nurturing yet incredibly encouraging. I ws challenged in every class but had re inassurance of knowing that I was not being judged. I would highly recommend joining one of Vicki's many online classess. I started YogaWithVickiB as a result of Vicki kindly offering a weekly 1 hour free session during the original lockdown in spring of 2020. I wanted to do some Yoga at home as I was missing my “in person” classes. I had done yoga classes before and wasn’t sure how online classes would work but felt very comfortable and relaxed through the lessons. Vicki’s online teaching is very clear and informative so I felt well guided through the sessions. Vicki has a very warm and encouraging style, and I appreciate this over doing videos on YouTube or on Apps, for example, as you really get a personal interaction through these online sessions with Vicki. The Tuesday classes I have attended were pitched at “beginner” level and to someone with more experience, like me, they are perfect 1 hour relaxing yoga session. I know that Vicki holds a host of classes pitched at various levels, having done one of the intermediate classes before I can say that you will definitely get a good workout if you attend one of those! I would recommend Vicki’s classes to anyone that is looking to start their yoga journey or to progress their technique.
