Although I have been an ADI for many years, the BTEC4 was a revelation and I would encourage all ADIs to challenge their beliefs and skills to achieve this standard. It will help you raise your game and constantly improve, off ra better service and improve road safety. Its all about the coaching!
Got my final assignment marks through today and it prompted my memory that I had left a review for this amazing course! My final classroom day was December 2019 with Kev Field and Fiona Taylor at Milton Keynes and firstly I’d like thank and congratulate them on their amazing delivery of the course material! Always helpful and understanding and more than happy to reiterate if something went over our heads a bit! They made every classroom session as fun as it was informative. Now to the course. I can honestly say that until I took the BTEC I was already planning my exit from the industry. It’s absolutely rejuvenated my love for the industry and gave me the information, techniques and the tools I wanted and needed to train in the way I’d always wanted to but didn’t quite know how. Like many, I was initially put off by the idea of formal, class room based training and the assignment workload but I can honestly say that Kev and Fiona Made the classroom the safest space possible! And there is as much help as you need for the assignments. (Just try and stay on top of them) I would honestly recommend this course to every single driving instructor in the country!Moreexpand_more
I'M so thankful to have found out about tri coaching partnership through M. S. A. This was when I started my journey towards getting first class quality training which started of with route 51 standards check , then going on to doing train the trainer which I found very helpful and can't thank my trainer enough for all his help a big thanks to Ian Lavell I then went on to starting the Betec 4 course which I found even more helpful in what I was doing and made think more differently about my business and about myself, I've recommend tri coaching to people that I know as there training is fantastic and I will certainly do more training myself with tri coaching thanks to everyone of yous especially Ian Lovell as he's fantastic in what he does and all the help that he has given me and it was great to meet Graham Hooper the director of tri coaching partnership.
Completed the btec4 coaching for driver development at milton keynes. Very impressed with venue. Very very impressed with the delivery of the course from fiona taylor and kev field with the back up of graham hooper. Very very very impressed with the Course content. Very very very very impressed with the email assignment support from susan mccormack. An absolute MUST for all driving instructors looking to improve their coaching in driver development. .
Just completed the Btec 4 in Dumfries. The course was constructive, and on point. Excellently delivered by Ian Lavell and Stewart Lochrie, both made the in class sessions fun, informative and easy to attend. I felt well supported throughout, with help and advice always available when needed, during the assignments. I would recommend Tri - Coaching Partnership to anyone working in the driver training industry looking for further career development and hope to make use of their services again in the near future. .
This course has given me the bounce back I needed to enjoy what I do again and see the benefits in the new techniques I have learnt! Ian and stuart made the course fun and interesting yet very informative too! I really enjoyed all the coursework we were given as I felt like I was still continuing the course even tho we were only in the classroom 4 days! The practical session was very informative and personally I got a lot from it! I also feel like I have a better understanding on how I can improve my lessons for my next standards check! I will definitely recommend it to others and can’t wait to do the train the trainer course with you guys! :-).
I have just completed the BTEC Level 4 qualification with Tri - Coaching. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it most beneficial. The course has essentially transformed the way that I train PDIs and pupils alike. The delivery from Susan and Graham was second to none; always engaging and very informative. The course was highly relevant, very interesting indeed, and has a direct applicability in all that we do as trainers and instructors. The assignments were challenging, fun, and always relevant. I would have no doubt whatsoever in recommending this course to all ADIs, and I am now looking forward to my next Tri - Coaching Course.
I very much enjoyed working on the Btec 4 with Susan and Graham. Their delivery was interesting, the assignments absolutely on point with developing myself and my learners. No death by power point moments, and no numb bum at all. There was always plenty of support, laughter, new friends, and plenty of delicious food on hand too! You can see by the photo how much Graham and Susan enjoy their job! (I hope they will forgive me for posting it! ). I was nervous about the in car training, but Fiona and Kevin made it relaxed and enjoyable. By far the best training I've been on as a driving instructor. Time for other training bodies in this industry to wake up to how it should be done! The monthly payments absolutely worked for me, otherwise I probably wouldn't have taken the course. Many thanks to you all.Moreexpand_more
I have been an ADI for some. When I met Graham at a conference, due to good results and an abundance of clients I had convinced myself that I was a great instructor. Which I was – An instructor. That been said, through all the training I had done up to that point not one of my trainers had used the word coaching! A very disappointing standards check test shortly after that resulted in a huge crisis in confidence and a confusion about what I thought my job was and what the reality and modern expectations were. I booked some training with Tri-coaching and decided to re-educate myself. After much self-reflection and numerous action plans facilitated by that training session the next Standards Check result was a perfect 51. All this did though was make me realise that I was very far from the instructor I needed and wanted to be. Thereafter, I decided to try and improve myself and so did the train the trainer course with Susan and Graham. It was a great course in terms of my professional development – but the added bonus was that I started realising the potential for my business and the increased income I could generate by being able to assist others in the industry. Now very motivated I decided to undertake the Btec4 – coaching for driving instruction. What an awesome course delivered by the most gifted trainers I’ve ever been taught by. I can honestly say that I have never learned more on a single course. And I have done and delivered numerous in my previous career in the food industry. My understanding of coaching is now so entrenched that I don’t really know how to train drivers of any level without the coaching skills I have developed. I have recently completed my Btec4 course, but the beauty of it is that by the time you are done, the development that started at the beginning of the course has really started to show results, and once that happens it motivates one to do more. By the end of the course I was changed as a trainer forever. Where am I now? My business is going really well, and I am starting to focus more and more on delivering CPD training for other ADI’s and PDI’s. Not only has my earning potential increased dramatically, but I am having the most rewarding time at any point in my adult working career. My association with Tri-coaching is invaluable to me. They are the best placed company in the UK to help make you the best product you can possibly be, and their experience of the business side of the industry then helps you to sell that great product. You could have a job, or you could have a career with infinite personal and financial rewards. The only thing you need to achieve this is to use the services that are so readily available with this amazing company – Tri-Coaching Partnership.Moreexpand_more
I have recently completed the BTEC Level 4 and wanted to share my experience. I was unsure where in the industry I could turn to furthur develope my coaching skills. This course has provided me with the tools I needed to ensure my personal development continues with a clear focus on client centred learning. The support provided by Susan and Graham during the course and their enthusiastic approach to coaching ensured learning took place effectively. I now intend to continue to develope the skills I have learnt and then next year decide on my next challenge to continue with my professional development. I would recommend Tri Coaching Partnership to anyone considering furthur professional development.
I came away with a good working knowledge of the relationship between the National Standards for Driving (and riding) and the ADI Standards Check. I also learned a great deal about other methods of training students in preparation for all types of driving associated tests. The trainers (Susan and Graham) were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to the candidates, and worked to fufil their individual goals over the two days. I am very glad I attended.
The BTEC level 4 was fantastic. The depth of this course and the passion and patience of the trainers is exceptional. Some truely eye opening tools not only in my driver training but in my life, The support you receive along the way is extremely helpful and the classroom session were fun. I believe anyone will learn something from this course. Thank You Guys for your time and patience along the way.
The BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development was good, we were able to breakdown all the elements and then put it into practice with our customers. I particularly liked having lunch with the trainers and going out for a curry in the evening as we were able to ask them driving instructor related questions in a relaxed environment. Would recommend the BTEC.
I would like to thank Graham Hooper and Susan McCormack for such a well delivered BTEC LEVEL 4 course. I could call Sue or Graham and they would happily answer any of my questions to help me develop client centred learning for my course work but most importantly to develop this with my students. For those who might be reading this if you are in two minds weather to go on this course, don't think about it too much just do it you will not be disappointed, just be opened minded and please believe me your mind will be opened even more. Sue and Graham really help you all the way through the year course which I've now completed and passed. So I would like to thank Sue and Graham and the whole of the TRI-COACHING TEAM.
The Training we received on the Train the Trainer course was excellent. Delivered in clear and manageable sections with extensive course material to take away and digest. The in-car session was incredibly enlightening. Would definitely recommend.
I found the BTEC 4 course an enlightening challenge. It's well delivered, and supported by the trainers. The more you put into this, the more you get out of it. If you're put off by the cost, remember that quality costs. I have been on cheap courses, and quite frankly they were a waste of time and money. Having completed the BTEC 4 course I feel that this was worth every single penny, and highly recommended.
As a newly qualified ADI looking to gain expertise in driver training, I enrolled in the Tri-Coaching Partnership BTEC 4 course in Driver Development. This has proved to be a really valuable experience as it has given me so much confidence to be able to tackle all aspects of Learner Driver training. The expertise of the trainers Sue and Graham is second to none, and I really enjoyed all 4 modules of the course which I attended in Sheffield between October 2016 and September 2017. In fact, I was so inspired by my time on the BTEC 4 course that I also completed the Train the Trainer course in Wetherby in November 2017. I cannot recommend these courses highly enough since the quality of the training is superb and I have also found that the experience of working with so many other like minded ADIs has helped my development as both coach and trainer.
Thank for the opportunity to revisit the course it has been so worthwhile - I hadn't appreciated how many of the coaching techniques I already use but I know I can fine tune and improve the lessons because it really is all about life long learning.
