DO. NOT. TRUST. THIS. AGENCY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. WE'RE IN CIVIL LITIGATION WITH THEM. Pay £10 more and go with someone you can actually trust. Details:On the 8th of December I booked a flight through their website and received a booking confirmation for this flight. I received a call a day later suggesting we used quatar airways which was over £100 more under the reasoning that china would quarantine at the layover. This was a lie, and upon investigating confirmed as much and requested by email that we retain our original booking. Fast forward to the 14th of Feb, we called to enquire where the e-ticket was and have been messed about for 3 days only to find out they never booked the ticket. They never informed us there was no booking, they never cancelled our confirmation, or subjected us to a change and under contract law, the confirmation acts as a contract to which they are still liable. They have been lying through their teeth for 3 days, screening my calls and suggesting their are 'issues with the supplier'. We gave them until today to book us a new flight at their cost, which they have refused. We are now undergoing legal action due to breach of major contract term and loss from loss of bargain to claim back the money from them. Even when trying to give them the option of choosing the flight with some flexible parameters they were still fraudulent in their action throughout. This has been an absolute disaster and now have to go through civil litigation which as you can imagine is pressure and stress you do not want. Https://uk. Trustpilot. Com/review/www. Traveldecorum. Com.If you read some of the lower reviews here, you can see over the last few months just how many individuals have experienced fraudulent behaviour. Mis-selling and representing prices, failing to provide flights after entering into contract. Etc. DO. NOT. TRUST. THIS. AGENCY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Pay £10 more and go with someone you can actually trust.Moreexpand_more
AVOID THIS COMPANY! I was due to travel last year in May. My flight was cancelled due to Covid. I have been waiting for 10 MONTHS FOR MY REFUND! This company do not have any intentions to return money to their customers. I have now made a small claims against them through the courts. THEY WILL NOT BE KEEPING MY MONEY! I suggest to anyone else who is experiencing having trouble getting their refunds to do the same thing…. Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Booked flights and car hire with travel decorum and due to travel ban requested a full refund, this is being denied and they are quoting airline policies and not mentioning the car hire which was booked as part of the package, asked for copy of email with full price and breakdown and was told already been sent, asked for managers name, ignored, asked about link for car hire, ignored, disgusting customer service so please avoid booking with them as maybe good price but if anything goes wrong through no fault of your own told no refund and"simple as that"was quoted in one email to me.
After a somewhat difficult year, I had decided to book a holiday of a lifetime, Christmas experience for my 76 year old mother. I was booking a complicated package including hotel in Miami, two separate cruises and then a further stay in Miami. All seemed well, with a very friendly and helpful rep by the name of Aaron. The prices seem competitive and and all appeared well organised. Unfortunately 3 weeks before we were due to travel my mother had a fall and broke her hip and cracked her femur. She had to undergo a complete hip replacement and was forbidden to travel by her consultant for 12 weeks. I immediately contacted Aaron at Travel Decorum, and he informed me that if I chose to cancel, the complete cost of the holiday was non-refundable. Of course at Christmas with a bedridden mother what option, other than to cancel did I have! ? It was true that on my invoice there was one sentence printed that said if cancelled the holiday was non-refundable however this was not pointed out to me at any time by Aaron, although he knew I was travelling with my mother therefore age was a consideration. I have written to them several times and their response is always the same, no hint of good will, mearly that the money is non-refundable. To add insult to injury when the cancellation invoice was sent to me, the accompanying computer-generated letter advised me to take documents with me and wished me a fantastic trip. Not only is this insensitive and careless, it shows a a distinct lack of of customer service in checking these basic things. I have no idea what their service is like should you actually travel under their booking, but if there is a problem, I have no doubt they will leave you stranded and wriggle like a worm, out of any situation they possibly can. I am convinced in a court of law the one sentence on their invoice would have a judge finding in their favour, however in the court of public opinion I have found it finds in mine! Be very very careful ask about terms and conditions before you pay ANYTHING to this company, and even then consider booking elsewhere.!Moreexpand_more
