A huge thank you to Chris Wynne, I finally passed! I had Chris as an instructor for a few months and he was amazing. He is an incredible patient teacher. Although I am over the moon I passed, I will miss our Thursday evening lessons.

A huge thank you to Tom Grainger School of Motoring for providing Cole with his under-17 driving lessons and for recommending Steve as his driving instructor when he was ready to continue. Steve has been absolutely fantastic with Cole from start to finish. He has been so supportive, patient and encouraging, helping Cole through his theory test and then going on to help him pass his practical driving test first time! I can’t thank Steve enough for all his time, patience, hard work and support throughout Cole’s learning journey. His encouragement and guidance have made such a difference, and we are so grateful for everything he has done. I would highly recommend Tom Grainger School of Motoring to anyone looking for driving lessons, and especially Steve for being such a brilliant instructor. Thank you both for helping Cole achieve this fantastic milestone!

I passed my driving test today first time with John Potts. His expertise as a driving instructor goes beyond the test, as his calm and precise approach in teaching me to drive confidently but safely, will serve me well throughout my driving life. A great driving instructor.

I passed my driving test first time with John Potts. As somebody who was very nervous when learning how to drive, John definitely helped me develop my confidence and enjoy driving, whilst also prioritising safety. He was very kind and patient during our lessons, which meant I could learn without stress. His teaching and guidance was very helpful and it has made me a much better driver even after passing my test.

Passed my test today 1st time without the help and patience of my driving instructor Chris Wynne I would not have had the confidence or the courage to take the test. Chris explained and took time to show me all attributes of driving. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone.

John Potts is incredibly chilled and patient, which completely took the stress out of learning. He doesn't just tell you what to do; he teaches in a way that makes sure you actually understand everything. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Ste highly enough as a driving instructor. From the very first lesson, he made me feel completely at ease with his calm, friendly, and patient approach. He explains everything clearly and breaks things down in a way that makes even the most challenging manoeuvres feel manageable. What really stands out about Ste is his ability to build confidence. He never rushes you, always encourages progress at your own pace, and gives constructive feedback that actually helps you improve quickly. His knowledge of the test routes and what examiners look for is excellent, which made a huge difference when it came to test day. Lessons were always well-structured, professional, and enjoyable, and Ste was reliable and flexible with scheduling. Chris wynne is the best instructor anyone could ask for, always patient with you, really friendly, does everything you need in depth and properly. I couldn’t have had asked for a better instructor. I contacted Tom Grainger Driving School after failing my first driving test with another private instructor. After my failure, I decided to try lessons with another instructor. Luckily, Tom Grainger School had some availability, and I was assigned Mark Hawley as my driving instructor. I passed with his help on the first attempt! I can’t recommend Mark enough - he was very patient with me (though I’m sure I was not the easiest to teach). He was helpful and always did his best to help me improve. I’m very grateful to Mark. Lastly, it’s worth saying that he is genuinely passionate about his job and wants you to succeed. Thank you, Mark .
