About Tim Robinson Herbalist

I am a person-centred medical herbalist in Edinburgh. I specialise in the treatment of emotional problems such as depression and anxiety, chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, migraine, chronic fatigue syndrome (ME), and digestive disorders such as gastric reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

I work with patients on a very deep level and we work as a partnership. We explore the links between symptoms and what lies behind them. Initial consultations are unique - they comprise two hours of face-to-face exploration of symptoms, medical history and all aspects of your life, followed by 1 hour spent by me researching and studying your case, then preparing a comprehensive treatment programme, covering diet, lifestyle, emotional factors, exercise, and anything that is relevant to your case.

I use mostly native Scottish herbs in my work, as well as Bach flower remedies. I incorporate counselling skills and a wide knowledge of psychotherapy, mindfulness, and nutrition. I am fully qualified and insured. My treatment is gentle, mindful, but extremely effective.
