About Talking-Cure
I'm Stuart and I'm your registered CNHC and NCH Hypnotherapist, UKCP Psychotherapist and BACP Counsellor and I work mainly in Bolton near Manchester (although home visits can be arranged). I am a recognised therapist provider for BUPA, Aviva Health, WPA and VitalityHealth and also an Anxiety UK approved therapist. Appointment times are flexible and I offer evening and weekend appointments to suit you.
I specialise particularly in working with self-esteem, anxiety, stress and panic. I also help clients with addictions, weight-loss, habits, phobias, quit smoking and many more issues. Full details can be found on my website and I am always happy to answer any questions should you wish to contact me.
Therapy is usually short-term and solution-focused and I aim to help you to make lasting change quickly. Expert training and experience allow us to choose from a range of psychotherapy methods to help you effectively in that process. On the website you can see a full list of issues that are covered and lots of useful information about the more common issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression and weight loss.
I recommend that in choosing a potential therapist, you check the level of qualification and accreditation very carefully.
At the moment hypnotherapy is not governed in the UK so always look for the CNHC seal of approval and if possible UKCP accreditation. UKCP training is the gold standard for psychotherapists here in the UK, at least four years training at Master's level. Please see the website for a full list of awards, accreditations and qualifications to help you make that choice.
For a lot of clients hypnotherapy is all that is required, but in choosing to work with me you have the benefit of specialist psychotherapy training to allow deeper exploration of any issues or problems. Whatever the issue, please do not hesitate to contact me by email, telephone (confidential answering service if you prefer) or through the contact page on the website.0 FreeIndex Reviews
