Coming to this class and being taught by Sally has given me such a good grounding and progression in Tai Chi. There are so many layers to the experience and training that we receive. The quality of the teaching of this system under the TAO is solid and well rooted. The whole ethos I feel is about self development and nothing is forced. The class is friendly and Sal is a fantastic skilled, patient, and fun teacher.

The Li Family style T'ai Chi is not only a very good form of exercise for both the body and mind, but also (when performed correctly) an extremely effective form of self defence that is not reliant on the strength of the practitioner. I attend the Belvedere class, run by Sally Grinhey, in which the Li style of T'ai Chi is taught and practised in a relaxed atmosphere, and as well as being good exercise is also good fun. Sally is a very accomplished and (believe me) a very patient teacher, well able to pass on the benefits of her own knowledge of the art.
