I went to Susan with irregular and very heavy periods. I'd tried everything and nothing worked, but within a few sessions my periods were regular and manageable again. She realy listens to you and can help with a wide variety of problems including periods, perimenopause and anxiety. I highly recommend!

For six months before going to Susan for help I had been visiting hospital for tests and treatment for a persistent vertigo type problem. Nothing seemed to help. I felt exhausted from trying to balance, could not function and was consequently quite depressed. Susan took a full medical history and really listened to how I was feeling. Her calm, confident manner put me at ease and for three weeks I had two sessions, then weekly and to date every three weeks. I began to see improvement almost straight away and I am now free of the constant feeling that the world was spinning. I have my life back.

I started my acupuncture treatment with Susan just before my first IVF treatment after a friend told me about the positive effects acupuncture can have on fertility. My general health improved from the first session with my regular headaches and spot outbreaks almost completely disappearing. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the IVF pre-treatment scan which can make the IVF cycle more painful and tiring but the acupuncture reduced the side effects and I had very little abdominal pain or emotional effects from the fertility drugs. The first IVF treatment was successful and I decided to have weekly appointments from taking the pregnancy test until the 12 week scan. At these sessions Susan was able to give me reassurance that everything was ok and provide treatment that kept myself and the baby as healthy as possible which was invaluable to me after having a missed miscarriage early last year. I then had three weekly appointments from the 12 week scan and I've had a really healthy pregnancy with no morning sickness, cravings or increased need for the toilet! Susan also helped to reduce the heartburn and ligament pains I had. I'm planning on continuing to see Susan to help recover from the birth and keep my general health good. After being diagnosed with PCOS and waiting for treatment I decided to explore options to compliment Western medicine. After some research I came across Susan's website and felt this was an avenue I wanted to explore. I made an appointment with Susan and instantly felt at ease. Susan was extremely knowledgeable of women's health and particularly fertility issues. Susan identified areas to target the treatment and after 5 months I am now 8 months pregnant. I first went to Susan just over a year ago to seek help with infertility problems caused by PCOS. After a year and a half of unsuccessful fertility treatment on the NHS (Clomid, IUI etc), I was feeling very low and disheartened but Susan gave me my optimism back. I first went to see Susan in October 2010 following fertility problems. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for 3 years. Unfortunately we had 2 seperate 'problems' to deal with. My husband suffered from a low Morphology (4) issue and we had also had 2 miscarriages, leading me to be concerned I had a problem carrying a baby. Susan started treating both of us. As soon as I met Susan I felt so confident that we were finally going to get some help. She instantly put me at ease and really took note of all my worries and concerns. All those little things I had been concerned about in my health that a doctor just dismisses, Susan was noting and building a clear picture of my overall health. Treatments never hurt or were uncomfortable and I always look forward to a session. Susan basically told us to give her 3 months and we would be pregnant, and more than that a strong pregnancy that would survive. And she was true to her word! I went to see this lady with what I thought was one complaint but after a very thorough discussion on my health problems and lifestyle it didn't really come as any surprise to find I have quite a few problems. I must admit to actually dreading the procedure as I'm needle phobic but this wonderful lady put me so much at ease that by the end I was able to look at them in my skin without any ill effects at all. The biggest buzz of all was the feeling I was left with, after so many weeks of being in constant pain it feels wonderful to be so relaxed. I cannot sing this ladys praise enough, total commitment , no feeling of being rushed just total care and consideration in every aspect of her patients needs. Thank you so much and I can say in all truthfulness I look forward to my next treatment.

I don't like needles so was initially very concerned about the prospect of acupuncture! It was through seeing the improvement in health of Susan's other patients that I went along for a consultation. Susan is so warm, natural and easy to talk to. The treatment was completely painless and is something I look forward to greatly. It is an experience of total relaxation and I feel so much better already after only a few weeks. Susan identified the cause of my symptoms straight away and it was a relief to find that I wasn't imagining my ill health after all!

I have been visiting Susan for about 2 years to address infertility problems caused by my PCOS and subsequent irregular cycles. I first went to Susan through having constant ill health particularly during winter time and having to resort to using antibiotics. Western medicine provided no solutions. Acupuncture has been wonderful - all the sessions and the benefits feel holistic in nature. Susan is a very good listener, skilful, kind and so caring - it is like having your own therapist. My health is now so good and I have sent my daughter along for treatment for something entirely different, but we are both expecting total success with this brilliant practitioner.
