I know how difficult it can be to find the right therapist, and to help with your search I offer a free initial appointment via Zoom or phone so that you can find out how it feels to be in counselling with me, and to ask any questions. I offer counselling online (Zoom) and by telephone and we can explore which option suit you best. From April 2026 I will be offering some face to face appointments.

I am an experienced counsellor (19 years) and my practice is in central Sherwood in Nottingham. To reassure you, I am a registered and senior accredited member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) I'm fully insured to practice, and DBS checked.

I am a person-centred counsellor and this means I will work hard towards a trusting, safe and respectful therapeutic relationship with you that will help you to explore your issues. You can move at a pace that suits you, and you can choose the duration of your counselling.

Counselling appointments can be in the daytime or the evening and are for 1 hour, and usually they are arranged weekly in the early stages, however you may prefer a fortnightly sessions. We can explore this together when we meet for a first free initial appointment.

My fees are £60 for each hour, and I do have some concessionary spaces. Please be mindful that concessionary spaces are often booked up, however I may be able to signpost you to agencies that offer affordable counselling - so please feel free to ask.

Supervision: I also offer counselling supervision (both one to one and groups) to counselling practitioners, and I hope to create a space with you that is full of curiosity and spontaneity, opportunity and creativity, transparency and authenticity. I will hold trust in you as a practitioner and be mindful of our ethical commitments and responsibilities together.

I am offering online supervision and telephone supervision.

If you would welcome an initial meeting to explore your supervision, your requirements and to see how it might feel to be in a supervisory relationship together I offer a free initial one hour session, and you're very welcome to contact me for a chat and/or to make an appointment.

My on-going fee is £60 per hour. Group fees will depend on the number of supervisees and the duration. Finally, I hold a Post Graduate (PG) Certificate in Supervision and I'm a registered and senior accredited member of the NCPS.
