Shore Edge Glass built a front door panel for us to match existing windows in our 1920's house. The firm advised on final design and colouring. The finished article looks fabulous and the advice given was invaluable. We cannot recommend the firm highly enough. Top quality product and excellent value for money. Thank you.
A repair of 3 badly damaged stained glass lights in the front door of an Edwardian house. Efficient, friendly service, rapid and good quality work. Keith removed the lights and secured the door with cut to size and shape plywood panels - not a quick job as the larger opening had curves. The cleaned, repaired lights were refitted within 3 weeks. The door now looks great - as good as it was when built. Exceptional value for money - I expected a cost at least twice which Keith actually charged. Highly recommend.
We can highly recommend Shore Edge Glass at Heysham. Manufactured and installed two beautiful new windows in our lounge. The whole process was straight forward. The hardest part was for us choosing a design and glass colour s and textures for Keith to make. The quality is fantastic and they look great fitted. Everyday they shed a different light into the room. Thanks again Keith.
Keith recently repaired several stained glass windows for us. I thought we would have difficulty finding someone locally who could do the job but Keith came to assess the damage a couple of days after I contacted him and the repairs were performed meticulously a couple of days later. No fuss, superb craftmanship and reasonable price. I can not tell the new windows pieces from the old! I recommend Keith very highly. Mrs Merritt, Bolton Le Sands.
We asked Keith to restore and renovate the stained glass panels in the front door of our 1930s house. The result was excellent! He managed to get perfect replacements for cracked segments and the finished item was first class. We have now asked him to quote for encapsulating another stained glass window in the house. Keith fitted his visits to our convenience, not his. He is a very pleasant and knowledgable specialist in stained glass.
Removed and replaced individual leaded paned panel, on completion couldn't fault completely blended with existing windows! Friendly, professional and faultless service, have asked for quotes for future works, highly recommend! Thank you. Kate Hastings Heysham Village LA3 2RW.
Keith repaired and encapsulated the feature window in our hall/ landing. He had gone to the trouble of finding a match of glass after his first visit to assess the window for his quote. They look fabulous, Wish we'd had them done years ago! Thank you Keith for a tidy, efficent, beautiful job.
Unfortunately broke a window catch on a downstairs leaded light so could not close window. (Security risk) Rang Shore edge glass in the evening and Keith came out late the following day to repair some glass in the window and secure the frame. Because of the security risk he made sure the job was completed that evening and didn't finish until 20. 30. The job was well done and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Keith replaced the centre piece of the centre panel. This required 3 firings and hand painting. He used exactly the same process and materials as the originals and you would never know the difference. Clever chap and very pleasant as well! We have got him to replace approx 10 other plain panels and we are now onto the more complicated one…….
We're delighted with the quality of the work. We had a stained glass window, next to the front door, repaired and encapsulated in a double glazed unit. It looks excellent and is great to have retained an original feature of the house. Also, we'll now benefit from much better insulation. Dealing with Shore Edge was effortless - nothing was a problem for them, they clearly knew what they were doing, delivered when they said they would and no chasing up needed. Would definitely recommend to others.
I am renovating my Victorian house in The West End of Morecambe with the hope that others in this once beautiful area will follow suit. I commissioned Keith to create some Art Noveau glass panels for the front door, inner vestibule door and the transoms. The result is stunning. In the words of one of my neighbours, "Your glass looks absolutely amazing" Keith is also supplying me with etched glass panels. For my inner doors. Not only is Keith a gifted craftsman, he is also meticulous and timely, as well as being personable and friendly and takes a great pride in his work. I would reccommend him without reservation to anyone considering adding beautiful stained glass to their home. I would certainly use him again. Lastly, my neighbour was also impressed by Keith's price for the job, as was I.
Called shore edge glass to replace a large landing leaded light window. This was completed with the minimum of fuss, the original leaded glass refurbished and encapsulated into a sealed unit and fit into a new plastic window frame. The end result is superb and far exceeds my expectations. I would recommend this company to any one.
We commissioned Keith to restore our Victorian vestibule door which had been badly bowing for some time. It has been returned to us with all new leading, broken glass pieces replaced and fully cleaned and restored, great care has obviously been taken and we are really pleased with the result. Im sure the door will now last another 100 years, thankyou very much Shore Edge Glass.
Keith collaborated with my husband to produce two panels of joy to place in a grand reclaimed Victorian door. My husband told me he had chosen the design to please me and I confess I may well have a tear in my eye when I look at them in a quiet moment, as the panels Keith produced are exquisite. We have a large Victorian guesthouse and these stained glass panels have helped us to bring back some of the old world feel to a house that had many of its original features removed. We have yet to fit the door but if I am able to add a picture later I surely will.
